Thread: TC Update
I noticed the same thing -- the Devs made a mistake.
A more general question, though: Does anyone notice any new, general changes that affect us? I didn't see anything that jumps out aside from reduced HAM cost/higher damage for knockdown moves, although I'm not sure if that is actually a new change either.
Seems to be a mixtrue of last month and new stuff, cuz hte bio-eng got some serious love this time around.
If pistoleer dont get any changes, after our great corresponder's thread and those replies to keep us satisfied, I am seriously debating on cancelling my account.
I mean, don't give me the whole "it takes time" crap. These guys have knowledgable players on our end GIVING the info they need to them free, when they are getting paid for jobs they are not doing. This Pistoleer dev has like 1 sole purpose in his job, and he hasn't done it for months now.
I am officially glad I dropped most of Pistoleer and picked up some BH for PvP.

Who said there was one developer per profession? Everything I've read has been contrary to that, and most developers seem to be responsible for several professions.

Keep up the good work ![]()
I rarely use bleeds anymore, they just don't work fast enough.
I think the Chef changes should benefit us, but who knows....
Core combat changes might roll into Live this summer, their original schedule was just crazy.
I thought the crackdown hit with Act 3?
Good work in sorting out some important things for carbineers specifically. I would like to add a thing about the bleeds though. As I got it when reading through the notes, DoT's will now count as weapon damage, rather then some "HAM leakage". I for example have used pistol bleeds often in combination with carbines as it targets the health pool which is hit most often by normal specials, and still get all xp as carbine xp. With the pistol bleed counting as pistol damage though, this would no longer be the case.
I'm not completely sure about this though, can someone check it out? Cause I think it would effect many who power level the early boxes of combat professions, with help of bleeds from other skilltrees.
I am hoping to be on tonight. I will check it out and get back to you.
I suspect they probably fixed it so a bleed applied with a pistol gets pistol exp. There were a few exploits with this.
I must say the new Chef changes are amazing, cooking is about to become very popular. On the other hand, I'm not seeing any kind of food that would help to offsetthe insane HAM mods on our skills. It looks like they intentionally left out all the strength and quickness buffs on purpose to prevent spamming specials. ![]()
I'm very curious to know of this is intentional. If so, looks like it's time to stockpile sunburn anr ryshcate.....
