3500 to a Rebel general...

had a laser average 42-271 burst shot 1...just a lucky hit i guess.

3,700 to a Piket on Dantooine, do it all the time, with Burst Shot 1. I've never had cripple shot do as much, mostly because its to slow for real use. I used a laser carbine with krayt tissue (the -.3) had a powerup, but for speed.

After working with a weaponsmith friend of mine, the new spawn of polysteel copper on Tempest and a little bit of thought I managed to acquire a new crate of laser carbines last night.
A little slice here, a little slice there...and shazam! A 2.8speed 79-385dmg laser carbine with admirable HAM cost (not a penality over -33). Drop on a 32% speed powerup and lets go hunting...

Im 1/2 a skill box away from Master so I decided to go kill some Jantas, Grauls and random FS on Dantooine last night. Much to my surprise, I was dealing in the 2900-3100dmg range with Burstshot2 and FullAutoSingle2 consistantly! And with these 'faster' specials (when compared to chargeshot) I was keeping up with my pistoleer friend! Sure he was still dealing 2 shots to my one with his sliced Krayt FWG5, but even if he was dealing 800+ & 900+ dmg a shot I was still out damaging him consistantly. And I have to say I saved our butts more than once with ChargeShot...that ranged KD bought us the time to put a little distance between us and those aggro'd Dark Force Savages...and then move back in for the kill at our discretion.

Im just saying it was a good day to be a carbineer. Killer damage at a great speed, ranged knockdown, and a little sucky sucky from the Actionshot and our class was looking good.

Who else has broken the 3000dmg barrier, what server, and with what carbine?

I have hit for 5200, rebel npc, laser carbine 464 max dmg, gorath server, crippling shot

15000+, it was a bug.

But Ikilled a rebel general with that one shot. Sure impressed my commando friend that was present.

Master Doctor/Master Carbineer of Scylla

6700 on a knocked down stormtrooper, made for a 3 shot kill. have also had 2 shot kills on gronda's(/chargeshot, /crippleshotnot, real common but they happen)

al this done with a 40-446, 3.8 speed laser carbine that has a max dammage powerup on it.

Most i've hit for is 5.7k damage on a knocked down storm trooper. That's after armor peircing and resistences.. As in, the actual number that floated over his head.

And not a krayt laser either just a niiice damage slice and powerup. I honestly feel that if I got a krayt laser, i'd get a speed slice on it, and break my keyboard.

6k exactly. It was on a lair, must be some type of bug because I've done it several times and hit for 3k with a regular shot. This was on Kettemoor with a 269 max damage laser carbine.

I'm on Tempest. How much for one of these bad boys?

am a carbineer 3/1/4/2on racdiant i got a elite 145/230 speed 2.5 and whit my burstshot 2 i it 3000

Is that even possible. I can see how you could get lucky for a 2.8 speed 79-385 laster carbine, but also no costs over 33?

Oh, and Ive broken the 3000 damage barrier many times.

One time my friend hit for 5k then 10k consecutivly, sure it was a bug, but who cares.
