Thread: What carbineer shots do u use most often?

Carbineer abilities only? Legshot, Crippling Shot, Charge Shot. I think that's it...
But between MBH and some Pistol tree's, I'm really at a loss on how to cram them all into my toolbar... It's high timeI turned on Modal chat and started assigning macros to keys ![]()

ugh! i can't decide whether to go 0010 carbs (for basic charged shot) or 0001 pistol (for basic stopping shot). Any opinions?

Hm. I think personally I would go for Stopping shot, but i'm usually PvEing.
Usually the KD from Charge shot is just not long enough, sometimes the mobs stand again before i can even shoot them once.
For PvP it might be different.

Cripple shot , legshot , rapidfire (during legshot cooldown) , charge shot
Removed scatter shot from hotbar until i can figure its benefit vs lower damage.
Supposed to spread damages all over target points ? does it mean damages are divided between each armor parts, hitting better weaker parts then damages are re-additionned? would be only good if people have mismatched armors or dont wear full suits then?
Or does it mess action/mind regen? Got no clue really ...

Scatter Shot is bugged in the way it reports damage.
In fact it does twice the damage reported (compare HAM before and after hit), its the same thing with Advanced Combo of TKAs (which does 3 times the damage reported)
I THINK the reason for that is, that Scatter Shot used to hit Health and Action, and Combo all 3 pools. Now all the damage to the three pools go to Health directly, but the Combat spam still only shows you the damage done directly to health.
Anyway: Scattershot does the same damage Rapidfire does, has a longer cooldown, but lower action cost.
I use it in this way:

scattershot
legshot
rapidfire (Scattershot is still not ready at this point)
legshot
scattershot
.
.
.
That way my action lasts for a tiny bit longer

Wow, thanks for this info, make scattershot decent attack attack then.
And thanks for mentionning about tka combo, got a tkm alt and was wondering about it too
Indeed, the new info definitely deserves some testing... the long delay will prevent scattershot to become my default attack, but put in between, it could make sense now.

I macrod some of my attacks:
mod_chargeShot
/chargeShot
/legShot
/pause 29
/alarmAddIn 0 0 KD him down again!
This macro does a chargeShot immediatly followed by an legShot ensuring I hit the target with my (currently) most damaging attack. The 29 Second pause and the alarm reminds me when the target is vulnerable to a KD again (if this vulnerabilty timer has changed please let me know =) )
mod_default
/rapidFire

this is my "default" attack. RapidFire and LegShot have different cooldowns, thus alternating them I can shot faster and hit for a lot of damage. When playing solo I dont have a autoattack and use to click on this one continioulsy watchin carefully what my target is doing and depending on what he is doing throwing in some other specials.
I always forget to look how long cripplingshot last, but as soon as I know the duration I ll replace my cripplingShot with:

/cripplingShot
/pause xx
/alarmAddIn 0 0 Cripple him !
