Thread: Hunting spots
You need 15k to become Expert. Best would be to stay around some town and kill the low level mobs which spawn around all the cities pretty quickly.
As soon as you're Expert, go to Corellia, look out for Crazed Durnis. (They have to be crazed, the normal ones aren't as good.) You can kill a Crazed Durni with one Expert Headshot (Headshot2), each one gives you about 300 xp... this way you'll get those 70k pretty fast.
And if you're able to gathera small party try the reds around the Mining Outpost on Yavin 4. Theyre all aggros, but pretty weak (at least the ones close to theoutpost).
I'm at your skill level in rifles so I would say what the previous poster said isn't a very good idea. If I were you I would do kreetle lair destroy missions. Although the kreetle's dont give excellent exp, they are so easy to kill you'll be fine.

P.S by the way, if you do them in the destroy missions you can make some money while you're getting exp 
This way, if I get in over my head, I have my trusty FWG5 to blast my way through anything my rifle cant.
Go to dathomir and do baz nitch missions
3000k exp a pop

Hello all, I was wondering of a good hunting spot or area for a Novice Bounty Hunter. I have Bounty Pistol 1 for a fairly good bleed, I do not have a pet or knockdown. Any ideas on where would be suitable to get Carbine 1 for a knockdown? Thanks in advance.
And it was about time too. Baz Nitches were completely broken. The missions were worth way too much cash, and the Baz Nitches were worth way too much XP. Dathomir is SUPPOSED to be the most difficult of all the adventure planets. You SHOULD have to go there in a large group. If you can solo Dathomir, then you're overpowered and the devs need to either nerf Dathomir, or nerf YOU. Be grateful they nerfed the Nitches and not us.
That being said, I am something of the pot calling the kettle black. I certainly got my 250K XP outta those things before the nerf.

If you just want experience try Leviasqualls on Rori. Giant Rabbits that you can easily outrun. If (like you say) you've got a good "bleed" attack find a group of them and start running, putting a bleed shot into each and then whatever attacks you have that won't deplete your HAM to badly. They're worth about 1300 Pistol and 130 combat experience. Nothing dramatic but good steady experience.
By the way, if you'd heard similar advice about Tabbages or Kima's don't try it. They boosted the speed on all the small cat critter models and they can more than keep up with you now.

I am an aspiring marksman trying to make it to novice carbinier, i was just wanting to know where is the best place to hunt solo to get that xp up for novice carbinier, i am an apprentice carbine specialist, and i have a decent near 200 damage laser carbine, can you help me?
For groups, you can try Fort Tusken. I got hundreds of experience from that place. You can also try gathering a hunting group to planets such as Lok or Dantooine (not too difficult planets). When you solo, you can try feral banthas who only have 1k of ham.
