Carbineer is more an attitude and style of playing than simply firing a Carbine.....
Once you get hooked there is no other prof out there that can give you the rewards like being a Carbineer

I went on TC2 Bria and made a TKM/Master Rifle/Fencer 4 0 0 0/Medic. I absolutley hated it.
Here is what I did:
Heatshot 3 until Incaped then Sniper Shot.
It was so lame. Maybe I could of used a few others like the Flurry or Advanced Strafe.
Carbineer rocks
I am here to stay.

First time I seriously picked up a carbine was when I decided I wanted to see if I was capable of mastering BH which I had heard was very difficult. At first I hated them. The damage was terrible, the specials took all my ham, and waiting on the weapon to fire because of its terrible speed was just excruciating.
Then I got KD fire. I know this isnt a carbineer special, but itforcedme take a look at the carbineer class. Carbineer itself was full of state changing specials. Dizzies, KD's and Stuns. Up until I actuallyexperiencedthe powerI held witha ranged KD I thought carbineer was a joke with its medium damage weapons and terrible ham costs. But that one specialchanged everything for me. Pistols are fun with there variety and appearances, but using a carbine and its specials in PvP is almost like a chess match. Anyway, this is the first class I have really devoted my time and money to. For the last three months I have devoted all my credits to advancing my skills and weaponry and it has been very fun for me. I really enjoy the carbine as a weapon, and have to say this is a fun class with a cool community.

Hey, I think I'm going to like it, too. I'm 2 missions away from MBH. /hail
And I liked the attacks I saw from the carbineer profession. It is a sweet profession. Only drawback is the HAM costs, which I hear won't be an issue after CB. YAY!!
Only thing I'm wondering is.....will I be effective against Jedi with carbines? I mean, if a Jedi has saber block, from what I've read he will block most of my shots. However, I plan on getting some through - I will have 200 acc, and Ill be eating some 40% accc food.
We shall see.

A MBH/M Carbineer accuracy is far greater than any other professions... HANDS DOWN. I think you will be getting enough shots through to seriously harm jedi

i am bh 0-2-2-0, carbineer 0-0-0-1, commando 0-0-4-0 and a jedi attacked me when i was afk (was with group and got tef) and i got back as i was being attacked and even tho i was only doing 40-70 hit (no specials) i was hitting more than every other shot. i think outof the rangedprofessions carbineer has the best chance of hitting a target we have incredible accuracy.

Unless it was changed recently, the accuracy of the person shooting at a Jedi has no affect on chance of a saber block.
