Thread: Possible new carbine in the pipeline.

A buddy of mine on TC was surfing the TRE files from a recent download and stumbled onto a reference to a carbine called the "Alliance Needler".
Anyone got the skinny on this thing?

Never heard of such a thing in the works. It sounds like it would be a kinetic weapon if implemented though. Meaning it would be useless. If they throw us another Acid or Energy based weapon... ugh.

Please remember they had parts of the race tracks and even profs removed in Beta still in the files.....
These guys have more bloated code than MS, why else do you think things that are simple don't get fixed....
Wish this were true, but nothing is happening until 2005 folks

I think its a blow gun, secret weapon for muscians looks like that horn they use

Interesting. On the pistoleer forums someone posted that he found new pistols in the TRE files:
Renegade
Intimidator
DeathHammer
Alliance Disrupter
Hopefully carbineers will get another damage type like stun or cold or something.
