I've got my padded suit back on, for now. But I'm wondering what all of you think about the new factional armors and all armoursBattle level.

Battle Armor
Padded
Marauder Battle
RIS
Bone
Kashyyyk Black Mountain
Ithorian Defender
Stormtrooper (Imperial Faction Armor)
Rebel Battle (Rebel Faction Armor)

Has anyone played much with the Rebel Battle? or Stormie stuff? RIS should be nice, but I'm sure its pricey too...Is padded the way to go? At least then you get the cool colors

I also really hope that there is the possiblity of changing color on Re-Spec'd armor. I have a 10-15 Mill carb suit, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to wear Blue Padded.

I will probably go with the rebel battle and also the padded (not blue lol) when we start to see some get made.

I used the Rebel Battle Armor on test and it was just as good as any other battle armor but looked better imo. We will not know for sure until we start to see what the AS can do with it. Armor crafting has changed so I do not know what to expect yet.

I did transfer my comp to the blue padded but at least I was smart enough to convert the helmet to bone so I don't completely look like one of those intel commercial guys.

I'm probably going to wear some kind of Battle armor (for the well rounded protections) with the segments that take away elemental to add to Kinetic/Energy resist. I'm gonna see what kind of loot is best to make a great suit to put my ADKs and +35 in speed and +40 in accuracy in.

No Ziplock, just novice Carbineer to wear armor.

The stormtrooper armour was converted very well in the CU. I used to wear it purely for the RP value and now I can wear it for the stats as well. My ST set gives 5016 base I remember correctly.

I am even seeing more and more people running around in ST that aren't really roleplayers.

I might pick up a set of each armor, but it looks like that damm RIS armor is going to be almost impossible to get now.

Mine converted to 5188 base, so that will be my armor of choice.

Since i have MBH too, i am planning on using BH armor or the rebel assault armor. The rebel assault armor looks sweet, but the BH armor is just cooler for when your killing people. My thanks to the devs that did the design for the assault armor though, its awesome :-p.

I converted my Comp to Padded. I'd love to get RIS, but not holding my breath.

Eventually, I'll get rebel battle armor. I liked it when I was testing the CU.
