Thread: Advice on PvE template?

I am a master carbineer with some doc and CMwho wants to change over to:
Master Marksman
Master Carbineer
Novice CH (with usable pre-nerf lvl40 pet)
Medic 2,0,0,0 (first aid)
BH 0,4,0,4 (carbines and LCs)
remainder on force sense and reflex
I have no interest in PvP but, thought this could work for PvE. Not really interested in going Brawler but generally, team up with my GF who is a master TK, if that matters.
Any thoughts on if this will work out?
Apparently,I want speed tapes. I have some higher damage laser carbines and a pretty decent snub nose, plus the obligatory sliced Nym's carbines. What weapons or equipmentshouldI be looking for?

DAMAGE sliced laser, DAMAGE sliced DXR6.

A Master Carbineer with 0400 BH has NO USE FOR SPEED SLICED WEAPONS.....

Or accuracy tapes, for that matter... i've fought about everything there is to see pve-wise, and ever since i got the BH line i've never 'missed'. Not once. Deflected, dodged, countered, etc.. but never 'missed'.
I would think your best bet would be a nice damage sliced set of laser, drx, and EE3... i don't know how stuff is on your server but on starsider i was able to get 322 max 3.9 speed lasers, 243 max 4.0 drx's and 230-ish 3.2 speed EE3's in reasonable quantities for slicing... and a damage sliced laser with a 420 max (not hard to get at all when you slice 4 or 5) makes a great weapon for anything that's not 80%+ energy resist... or even against those things if you have to... (that was actually my pvp laser too, and worked just fine against 80% comp)
The DRX's are a must have though... rancor looting is a great passtime and being able to kill an enraged before he gets within 20m of you is SO nice...

Grab a combat R3 or Probotdroid and some droid repair kits to go with Creature Handler. They aren't fantastic, but having a third gun on target always helps. Good for an emergency tank when you draw an aggro.
Chuck Nym's Carbines back to Lok and grab a good DXR-6, you'll do much better. Have an EE3 on standby for Heat vulnerable mobs and since you're PvE only, invest in a top shelf Laser Carbine.
Other than that, it looks good from here.

Anyways, Damisoum is an awesome 11pt with force crafting WS, vendor freshly stocked.

Thanks for the wp, STC is too big. I get bored half way through looking at all there vendors. LOL
The advice has been apreciated.
My sliced laser is 3.7 max 374 w/o power up, a shouldI expect to find much better without blowing large amounts of cred?

If that's a stock, that's about as good as it gets, and its still pretty damned good. Anything better, and you're looking at krayt guns.

Actually with a Stock and 25% Damage Slice you can hit 400 max damage on a Laser......but nothing wrong with 374

on chili if you check out ket's vendor hes got a bunch of 410+ lasers, 300+ dxr and elites for some pretty good prices imo, but yes, if you took all you carbs away and offered me a 374 laser, id take it

Given the variables of resources across servers, that was still very likely a perfect crafting session that created the schematic for that. 3.7 speed on a non-krayt laser is an accomplishment, particularly one that's damage sliced. I usually see 4.0s on non-krayts.
