Do you guys really think that these people like 20+ Holocrons will tell where they got them? thats like asking the best armor smith on the server to tell you where they get their resorces and their another armorsmith.

No it's not. Armorsmithing is a business. Would be jedi don't have to compete with each other to grind.

Ok seriously, we need our weapons fixed badly. Since our "always AOE" attacks are not doing damage what so ever but still getting us agro like a mother we are basicly just getting slaughtered after each attack. Eather turn off the AOE (I dont want this to happen) or actually make the damage hit everyone int he cone as much as the focused mob. This maybe feared as "ultimate damage dealer" But if you are going to nerf our dots to 23 damage per tick and then you need to fix the AOE. Right now we are the ultimate accessory to getting a group slaughtered, who wants to group with a commando when all they do is agro the hell out of everything and do tiny bits of damage to the mob they are focused on? Fix this please.

Heres where it gets tough

should I go pistols 0404, or pistols 0001 and some medic? which would be more usefull in PvP?

Gah... I'd have to drop Pistols 0404 to 0004.. Then I would just have enough for Medic 0030 :-(.

I need help on this one.

With this most recent patch, that's not true yet... those pistol skills can still help keep a lot of damage off a person who uses them well along with the carbines/BH skills, espeically in coordinated groups.


But, with the changes to root that I've heard are coming I think you end up being right. Those changes being the inability for groups to stagger or chain roots to keep mobs or players perpetually tied down. That means after the first root somebody is gonna get bull rushed... and with a carbine/BH/pistols template that would almost certainly be the one who does. Depending on how long the root immunity timer is it could affect soloing, but it will definitely affect groups.

heh or you could get rid of all the pistoleer skills and take doc 0004. Then you could heal yourself realy well and have buffs...The speed buf is the realy good one it can add a ton of dps to you...although its hard to get rid of a root once you use it a few times : )

healing is cool, but its not fun healing an entire fight, the only way to really keep a jedi on lockdown is disarm / root

root is nice but i consider disarm shot a must, root will keep a jedi from walking up to you but it will not keep them from saber throwing you to death

i have a friend who is 0404 pistols, mbh, mc


he is able to solo almost full templates while i can only kill very low levels and i have master cm, the reason for this is simply because even though i can snare the hell out of a jedi making him practically rooted he still can root me and throw his saber at me, this forces me to heal most of the time while fighting and lets me do little or no damage to the jedi


with ruby bial and high level stims you can heal yourself very well, although the downfall is sooner or later your stomach will full up and you will be unable to heal


if you must absolutely have medic, i'd say consider tweaking your template and attempting to pickup novice medic, that way you can eat citros snow cake, pickup a +25 healing efficiency attachment and do a pretty high healing bacta shot


although bacta shot is useful, its not as strong as cm heals and it may not be worth spending the 15 points on for some people


i say if you're going to go healing you should go all out and pickup the healing line in CM, if not you should head the opposite direction and try to output as much damage as possible while keeping the jedi on lockdown with your specials, and you can do that with 0404 pistols


remember as a cm the only thing you can do to keep a jedi away from you is paralyze and you will run out of mind very fast if you try to play a healing game with the jedi


but i haven't been playing with cm much after this last patch so maybe there's some sweet strats i dont know about, although i dont really see how faster healing is going to keep a jedi from attacking you

Nope it's the second character slot. That way at least you can have one toon that doesn't suck
