I would like to start by saying how honored I feel to be chosen by SOE to serve as the Carbineer Correspondent. Many thanks go out to all my supporters as well. Although I will say it sure looks weird coming into this Forum and seeing Novamarine NOT as the Corr.
A little about myself in relation to SWG: I have 3 accounts; Doc/Merchant, PvE Carbineer and PvP Carbineer. My PvP Carbineer is working towards Jedi for which I got 4 free unlocks. Now while this means I am close to getting the unlocks needed (any day now whenever Phase 2 hits), I am not a hard core grinder as most Jedi seem to be. I am also in the JTL Beta right now, but of course I can’t talk about any of those details any more than I can talk about the Combat Revamp.
That is where I am now and I bring that up to help give perspective on what my plans are in the future (also planning some time for Battlefronts too). First my number one priority is to the Combat Revamp and I don’t just type that to see myself typing the “right thing to say”…I really mean that. I am sure most of you already know that I prefer to NOT beat around the bush or sugar coat things
And after the Combat Revamp comes JTL Beta and then Jedi for me.
Don’t expect much to change around this Forum. I truly did not want to see Nova leave us and I hope to continue the high standards that he has set for the Carbineer Correspondent position. The past few months I have spent a lot of time with Nova so I don’t have quite as much to catch up on as would somebody else a bit more “green”
Of course I still have tons of catching up to do so we Carbineers are properly represented.
Lastly, here is my plan more specifically in this Forum. I will be caring the consensus voice of the Carbineer Community to the Devs, but still expect my very passionate discussions within our own private Community. Just as Nova counted on others to assist him, I will be relying heavily upon the entire Community for support in solid testing and game experience opinions. I will be updating the STICKY posts but not a radical departure from the fine work of Nova. Tiggs should be dropping by soon as she gets to the C's in her quest to get individual feedeback on each profession. Because of this and the Combat Revamp, I don't plan on updating the "Top 5 Issues" at this time.
Above all else, lets have FUN….this is a game after all.

Hmm, first post...
Edit: I decided to add something worthwhile, besides my first post glory. I am greatful to have TA as our new correspondent. He will indeed, help our profession get the attention it needs, and he will also serve to help new people to the Carbineer profession with their problems and questions. Let him lead us well!

I rarely post on the forums but I do read them a good bit. I'm not going to talk about how much you know about carbineer, I'm sure you yourself already know you're the most informedwhen it comes tothis profession, TA. But I am a bit surprised you were picked, because honestly (and you might even agree with me TA) you can be rude, especially when it comes to not reading the FAQ. Although,I'm quite glad you were picked because I don't expect to seeyou doing any of thatsmooth talking that I so often see other correspondents spitting out. You're all about information, numbers, testing, and getting carbineers what they deserve.

Grats hawk. I am a casual lurker here... I wanted to be a Carbineer in the year leading up to release, and I was one for about 4 months.. grind took over, now I'm a mixo BH carb / carbineer kinda thing.. I can't drop carbines and after the combat balance I'll most likely dump TK for good and return here.
Oh, beware the correspondent field trips...
Have fun man.

Its wierd seeing Novamarine with the green pilotness. I think old corrs should keep the blue and say Former Correspondant.
