I have been doing some snoobing around, and i have come to realize that E-11 carbines have very very low damage range. I was thinking maybe if we can get the damage on a E-11 with lucky slice and good krayt tissues to 400+, it will possibly be a better choice then a elite carbine. what you think?
Im going to buy a few E-11 carbiones and start looking at different damage range. Would love to hear feedback from other carbineers.

Using similar components.....
Elite 1.7 Speed, 136/267 Damage after 33% Speed Slice
Enhanced E11 1.5 Speed, 116/274 Damage after 15% Damage Slice
As you can see they are pretty even but the Enhanced E11 has that Health Bleed which is small but useful.

yeah i totally agree i have been currently trying out this option - due to the minor DOT and it only takes a single krayt tissue

I have said this many times. The Enhanced E11 is a far better weapon. It takes one Tissue and with damage slice and power up mine is 160ish-450ish speed 1.5. The AP1 is pretty good, now you have to deal with the 80% Energy Armor and PSGs.

lets compare them properly, the E11 is without a powerup, and the Elite has a powerup.
Put an identical powerup on the E11, and then let us compare.
If it does have a powerup, it is cut off from the bottom of the picture and therefore not visible.

I always pupped my pvp weapons.
Of course, it was my mistake. Should've told you I pupped my weapons.

Let me repeat.....Apples to Apples comparison here.....well almost except the slices are different.....

If you threw a 15% Damage Slice on the Elite it would have been..... 2.5 Speed, 156/307 Damage
Now please tell me how the raw damage numbers of an Enhanced E11 can be better than an Elite? I used nearly identical components here on all my Krayt Carbines, except my EE3 but that is not discussed here. Of course the difference is amplified if you have less than +85 Carbine Speed and only 1 Krayt Tissue.
And for general comparisons look at one of the best Weaponsmiths on all servers......he lists the stats on standard carbines
No Enhanced E11 in there, but still some good info on basic Carbines.

I have been keeping an eye out for a high damage krayt tissue for just this purpose. The enhanced E11 is a great gun if you only have one good tissue (which is easier to come by than the 4-5 you need for other carbs).
You know, with a good damage slice you are looking at a weapon that is similar to a DE-10 in damage, speed, and AP. Maybe not as good, but like mentioned above it does have that bleeding dot which stacks nicely with other health dots.

The Elite Carbine looks like its trying to be a trade off between the E11 and the Laser.
Its got slightly betterthan Laser speed, slightly better thanE11 damage, with Light AP. It just doesn't execute well because of our speed skill situation.
