Thread: The newest line of Starsider carbines

every week a WS on starsider devotes his weapons to a specific type and when making them targets their weakness while keeping them top of the line. this week was the lucky week of carbineers. his focus was on speed and he did a darn good job on it. here is the 3 guns i bought each was dmg sliced for over 25% and has a max/min power up on it.....

i can't wait to try them out, and i was wondering, do any other servers do things like this? if not i would recommend it to all WS out there. 35 guns were made each cost 150k or more and by the next morning when i got there, there were only 10 left. it was a huge sucess and great for us carbineers

Those are pretty impressive. Any idea how they were made? (I'm on another server, no fear of compitition)

not exactly sure... couldn't afford the krayt ones so they aren't krayt. i think they were made with impFFS and advanced scopes by a 12 point smith with amazing resources. outside of that i have no idea how they were made lol.

well they are all very low speed, average speed for a laser on starsider is 3.9...... these are 2.9.... average for a DXR6 is 4.0 these are 3.2 and FFS only have -.3 speed so these are still much faster then that, thats what i like about them. shaving almost a full second off them makes a big difference, i'm just missing the speed cap now with my carbine suit on with the DXR6, firing cripple at 1.2 with it. i dunno how the speeds of guns on other servers are so i can't really compare

Yeah, I think I'm gonna have an EE3 made with a FF stock, normal barrel (for a tad bit better speed), and an advanced scope. How's that sound to you WSs out there?

Those are some nice guns. One day I'll go Master Weaponsmith & make those kinda guns for us all! 
Unfortunately, that will be a while since I'm a fairly new Master Carbineer & don't wantto give it up

Other than the form fitted stocks, they look like pretty standard damage sliced and powered up guns. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

You'll lose a little accuracy by using a normal barrel.

That's actually it, heh. Mira Mar, the crafter of those Carbines, was using between +30 and +50 tissues with I'm guessing -0.3 to -0.5 speed. Add an Imp stock.. and yeah.. an easily made Carbine.
The reason why Xerxes (and myself) picked up a few of those is because.. finally.. a weaponsmith on SS decided to give us Carbineers some love (she was one once herself.. though went WS.)
They're maybe not top-PvP standard weapons without speedcapping.. but still good carbines for the price (I got such a Laser for 750k. Considering Id have spent about 500-600k on such tissues, and I spent 125k on an Imp stock.. it basically comes out to the same thing.. without the hassle of a custom job.)
Xerxes - I'm curious.. what's your template?

-HIT- weapons in Braxis, Naboo, where the old CSA shop used to be. Might be sold out by now.. but every Friday is 'Carbineer Day' there, so check back often.
Or just send Mira or Flawless a tell.
