What do you guys think, i keep hearing about the nyms and hallsweeper. Can you get them anywhere near a Dart carbine???

That's a pretty solid carbine. It has a higher base min damage if you don't count the Nyms elemental, nice speed, but the sac looks kinda high, is it 88 without the pup? I can't honestly say which is better without testing and comparing myself, but I would lean towards the Nyms. A goodslugthrower is going to give you about 350 min + 170 acid. If you're spamming mostly ranged shot/legshot, I think the Nyms is going to put out a little more damage.
I don't think the hallsweeper is worth using except to see the pretty blue bolts...but that's just me...

very nice carb, althoguh I would've though the smith would have made sure to hit hte sac cap on such a nice Czerka though

my nym is preatty much same but has only 704 max dmg...i wonder if should adk it...anyway 15 dmg dont seem sooooo important and my elemental is 174..i like it...i sac puped it and can shoot all day nonstop ....strangely while i shoot with it torso shoot is best hit as it hits more than leg or critical hit and ads bleeding also...only happens with nyms

I'd say dart carbines need to be over 900 damage to be considered nice guns...

i dont care much for max damage i'm all about min. This carbine was given to me by a guildmate shortly after the cu went live. Just wondering if i should be looking for some shards to make it better although that from what i understand will not help the min correct?

A goodNym's has around +100 to minimum dmg compared to that czerka. I did some tests against a TKM with CoB, and found that the Nym's extra min damage helps LOADS. Even though the elemental damage is not amplified in special attacks, the special attacks using the nyms was way over the other carbine which had a min dmg around 430, same as in this case.

I'm all about min damage too. So having a weaponsmith alt, I made my Czerka with around +80 shards. I did this specifically to be able to apply a full damage slice so I could bump the min damage even more. The end result was a SAC capped carbine, pupped and sliced to 530-1040 damage. Can't remember speed off hand though.

i think i noticed this too. When i was looking at my combat log i notcied Torso shot was outdamaging Critical shot (i thought it was probably b/c i got a +critical+ ) but i realized that my nyms isn't critical sliced.
