yeah, that is nice about it. So I still keep one for use on rare occasions.

I am a little irritated this morning is all. My rifleman buddies are hitting mobs soo much harder (and farther) than me even with my best Elite 1017 max unpupped. and my pistoleer buddies have a tremendous variety of good pistols at thier disposal.

Rifleman- LD-1, covert retalliation, trandoshan hunting rifle, fallen hyper rifle, DC-15 rifle, grievous striker carbine!!!!!!???? (master rifleman cert) anything else I'm missing? Oh yeah the dawnsorrow but its got a MSL cert so wont really count that.

Carbineer- Proton carbine, Geo carbine (sucks), DC-15 carbine (just ok), alliance needler (sucks) are there other quest carbines that I seem to be missing?

Then theres crafted carbines all the new ones seem to suck and have dumb certs like MSL. Elite seems to be the best crafted in my opinion but still.

Then theres the crafted ADV laser rifle that people are getting up to 1250 max and it has speed mods on it.

All I'm getting at is that there seems to be alot of really good quest loot out there for all professions except the only good quest carbine I have found is the proton.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

P.S. Someone I know looted a Blackscale hallsweeper carbine from the avatar platform and gave it to me its the DXR rifle model and shoots blue bolts with a cold elemental damage on it. The max damage is around 720 i think cant get ingame right now to get exact stats but just wondering if anyone else has looted this and has the same stats? I want to know if the looted stats are random in hopes of camping the avatar for a uber one thanks.

Making statements that weapons suck when the have a specific CL level use is just short sighted.

Alliance Needler is a quest weapon? I could have sworn I just made some of those

As for all the weapons that ARE quest items and not craftable....I'll reserve my comments about those

if you think it is time for a new correspondent, go to the thread and voice your oppinion...oh, and while you are there, go ahead and read some of the other responces...in fact read them all.

if you think you can do a better job (which i understand you did not say) you are welcome to run for the posisition yourself. i am sure your attitude is EXACTLY what Carbineers are looking for.

Proton Carbine has a Master Bounty Hunter cert.

we do seem a little shafted so far. Hopefully more "useful" carbines will be released soon.

We just cleared the Avatar this weekend and looted 3 incredible pistols 313-330 DPS on each oneaverage and one lame carbine 243 DPS. Funniest part isall the avatar gaurds usecarbines! I have also done many Kashyyyk quests and received some really nice pistols, a rifle and, Knuckers, pikes and swords....Only carbine was the Proton which is borked atm anyway(IE elemental)

Cerka is bleh (BH cert)

Alliance is bleh

E5 is nice cept (SL cert)

Laser is crap now (which is odd since the rifleman one is so great now)

DXR6 is crap now

E11 MKII is nice

Elite is nice

The one from Jabba's is crap

Czerka isn't terrible for PVP if your opponent is wearing a PSG. Against a PSG with 2000 armor, a 260 DPS Czerka will do as much damage as a 325 DPS Elite.
