Only if the carbineer has the BH carbineer tree and some extra speed/accuracy/aim skill attachments...oh and a weapon with a good range to lessen the negative effects of the enemie's mitigation (aka not a laser carbine with 53 minimal...more like one with 100+ minimal)

I´m getting into PvP more and more with my guild, don´t walk around dueling or stuff like that, find it rather boring much more fun with big scale attacks.

I have PvP:ed some. Mostly using my TKA skillsI must admitt

An upswing has come now with publish 6 though: the form fitted stocks from the imperial theme park.

With them it is possible to make very good elite carbines, lower on HAM and much faster than before. My carbine is nothing special, just the new stock to an ordinary elite, and the stats are about 2 s speed (after slice) and 120-215 dmg. The lower speed makes all the differense in PvP if you don't have BH carbine. Make sure you're buffed though, if you want to fire carbine specials fast hehe...

Good luck in any case

I KD players, kite them while hitting with crippling shot. Especially TKM players. By the time they catch me they are pretty beat up, I swap to my Vibroknuckles and beat them down. I use the same thing against ranged opponents with varying degrees of success. Works really well if you wait till the enemy group uses the group flag on someone and they all are trying to nail one guy, most times they dont realize youre standing back hitting them till thier target is out.

This works alot better in a group so that your targets buddiesarent bleeding you or anything while they are fighting your friends.

Other than that I suggest getting some melee skills, use KD then rush them while they are down, and proceed to pummel them.

I use my carbine sparingly though cause of the whole HAM thing. If it takes 1/4 off my bars I put it up and fist fight.

Buffs and good armor are the carbineers best friend! And I cant wait for the new HAM system and multi KD! Woohoo!

... Unless they decide we dont need a multi KD.... wouldnt surprise me...

I pvp quite a bit. Loose some but win more than i loose most of the time. Def stacking riflemen are my only hard enemy now that flame got nerfed. But im also a doc so dizzy/kd me and you get a surprise

Im not uber or anything but with the right tactics a Master Carbineer can do quite well. Most people spam attacks just because they hear they work best. You need to choose your attacks and time them well. A fast weapon is your best friend though no doubt. Here is one tip that might help you...Ideal range bonus works great against def stackers.

It depends on your opponent and your gear. If I'm completely buffed with full composite, I can take down an un-buffed TK master, as long as he doesn't knock me down. (lots of running away is involved) I can however stand toe to toe with pretty much any other combat class no problem... I took out a MBH easily, and I had two commandos flaming me non-stop with barely a scratch. I ended up with 800 health wounds, but I was buffed so that barely dented my health bar.

Unbuffed... forget it. Chargeshot1, Fullautosingle2, Crippleshot, and I'm all out of HAM.

I PvP a lot but usually only with my guild or other groups of Imps....myself alone would suck a little. Usually I wait till someone gets dizzy from fighting a fellow imp then hit him/her with chargeshot1. or just keep firing the actionshots to bleed all the rebels to soften them up for my fellow Imps.

my build are tk 4.0.0,4, rilfeman 0,4,0,0. master markman and master carabiner.

i got speed attachments, reaching carbine speed 90 plus a sea of attachements..

Im doing pretty well, if i play right , even rilfeman/fencer, tka got probs to kill me( they kill me more than i do, but somethimes i get them).

Just ordered elite kryat carbines, stocked to peform better. This template is working, ifi play right it not many who can kill me or me kill them without serious fight( 5 min or more).

Carbineer/Swordsman is still a pretty good combo. I've got a 50-60% win rate (down from 75-85% since the patch) in single PvP, and a much higher one in my general group PvP.

I'm a diehard PvPer, and this combo, while it just got the **edit** nerfed out of it, is a viable one.

IMHO carbine is an excelent support class. When me and the buds go to AH, I'll stand up on the hill and /fullautosingle2 everyone that is fighting, once i've applied some states I usualy /suppresionfire as many as i can, then i'll just spam some kinda high damage shot. Then once someone comes up the hill to attack me I bust out my pistol(master pistoleer here) and destroy them, I wish I didn't have to use my pistol...but oh well carbineer sucks alone.
