Thread: what exactly does chargeshot1 do now?

Does it still automatically kd an enemy? How long does it last? I never used it prenerf so I won't know how uber it once was...

absolutly nothing i tryed 5 duels today and could not land 1 KD with either shot...WTG SOE

When I tried it in a duel I got a kd on my first hit, however later in pve I noticed I got a hit without kd. Oh and it doesnt last any longer than before.

it seems silly to put a timer on firing any kd, but no timer on the duration the target is down for. People don't seem to understand that previously, even if you spammed cs1 in pvp the target could still fire. There was no dizzy applied, so no problem standing up. It really only helped with creatures, and even at that you could get maybe 2 or 3 shots off before the melee creatures were ontop of you. (it still confuses my why i'm less likely to hit something when the barrel is pressed to its head than i am from 30 meters out). From my experience today, i'm less likely to hit with cs1 at all now, and it's worthless if i do because the target is instantly back on its feet. I wouldn't mind a 30 second timer if i knew the target would be down long enough for me to get some sort of advantage out of it being down. After all, isn't gaining an advantage the point to any special?

This just gives me an excuse to hammer pple in PvP with Stun+Dizzy, then smack them with KD. I'm sure it will be a matter of time when they start crying over that. I say just take away all our weapons and give us super soakers, that way noone can ever cry "ownage" or not fair my ubah avatar can't handle kd with a Stun + Dizzy.

Carbineers didn't get nerfed at all. One of their skills was fixed, and it happened to be the only one that was having a positive un-intended effect.


Instead of being useless unless abused, Carbineer is now just useless.

.5 seconds for me..



0.5 seconds would be more accurate since I can't get a second special off before the target stands up.

I got to test it on a player yesterday. Sprayshot & Chargeshot1. He went down and stayed there.

Dont bounty hunters have a dizzy shot though?

So this change does nothing to you.


As a carbineer I can charge shot knock someone down (when im lucky) but their right back up again.

Nothing against Bounty Hunters but this is the reason that CS1 was changed. If it applied a dizzy with the KD no problem, but without it CS1 is as worthless as CS2 and bleeds now.
