carabineer knockdowns work too
if they fix the dizzy and add 20 speed I don't see a reason to go BH
however as it is now..... the only way we could be as good in carabine skill as a BH, is if you have a few carabine speed tapes - which of course will be decayed after 100 deaths ![]()

Here we go again. We are all well aware that BH/Carbine is better, we have been for, oh, about 5 months now. Is there any particular reason that you felt the need to come to the board and put this? Did you think that it was some startling revalation? You thought thatperhaps you are a pioneer, that you were the first to find this out and you just needed to share your amazing discovery with the rest of us? That must be it...we thank you then, for being a pioneer and letting us all know about your amazing discovery. You truly have opened our eyes.
Now, sarcasm aside, why not check the 50 thousand other posts with pretty much the same exact subject and same exact body. These retarded posts start a small war between the Carbineers (who know that we are a broken class that needs a ton of help)and all the people who think that we should just pick up medic, BH, CH and then we are fine. I am so tired of it. No wonder we never get fixed or even looked at, half the people that use carbines have those other professions that make them work just fine.
Please, please, I beg of everybody...stop posting about how good carbines are with these other professions. We already know all of the stuff that you are posting, so just keep it to yourself, we don't care.

Why did you drop Master carbineer to go novice BH? That's pretty dumb. If you want to be the best carbine user go carbine BH Master carbineer it uses all your pts but you are really uber in pvp and pve.
This thread isn't RETARDED, it's to prove a point from someone that KNOWS all the skill trees fairly well. I was a Master Carbineer, know the in's and out's, and more posts like this are needed if Carbineer is ever going to be fixed.
What is retarded that you didn't think it through before posting; "Wow, another Master Carbineer has seen the light, hopefully another thread will grab somebodies attention."
As for me being dumb for going BH...God I hope you get a Jedi slot on Tempest so I can kill you repeatedly. What's dumb is every moron missing a brain running around trying to be a hairstylest because some holo cube told them to. Sheep. What's smart is following a profession that is actually a challange and enjoying it.
BH Carbine does rule compared to Master Carbineer, and even at Novice BH I'll be happy to take any of you in PvP. School's in boys, bring it on.
woh woh woh, ive been bh 4 investigator and played with bh for i would say 2 monthes now. Well doods who thin bh carb is all u need, think abagin, im truning to the proffesions do to bhs hmm lack of d u might say. Anyways im goin up carbineer NOT BH and ya bh carbine is all good with some cheese on the side, but i mean charge shot, i think doesnt have a timer or somthin like that, and takes like half as much ham, i kill my self using underhand shot twice with my laser carb lol.
Anyways i think that carbineer is the best prof cause its hard and screwed up and really needs to be fixed, and thats whats so good about it, now if everything was like this then i would be dam happy with this game

I have the same BH you do. 3/4/4/4. Since the last patch the defense mods of my opponents have lowered the value of BH shots quite a bit. Probability of getting a KD / Dizzy is quite low, and if you do the finishing weapon you use: LLC, misses quite a lot since KD'd targets can still dodge. Having no defenses as a BH puts you at a distinct disadvantage.
I'm on break storing up energy to do Inv. 4 in one shot and have been on Dantooine a LOT with friends. I dropped two levels of LLC to make room for carbineer 0/0/4/3. Since I'm at speed cap, fullautoarea and burst shot disintegrate mobs. Between my friend with advanced strafe for rifle and my other with fullautoarea, both of us with charge shot, we're taking on entire lairs of grauls without using pets. Also the counterinsurgency line gives you -counterattack-, and between counterattack and the charge shot I've been doing awesome in PvP. Devs started charge shot is 'working as intended' and if that's the case it's great, because it uses almost no ham compared to underhand and fire kd, and you can use it repeatedly.
Carbine is an awesome weapon and the only problem with the class is broken AOE on suppression 2 and broken AOE on charge shot 2. If those are fixed and carbine speed is upped at master, you will see a lot more carbineers. Even as it is carbine is an underrated prof by far.
Fullautoarea is one of the most fun ranged moves in the game.

I realized some of you may not know from my other posts that I am a carbine nut, buying 20-30 a week, trying out new tactics in bizarre situations and basically doing everything I can to make carbines rule. Chargeshot still holds the day out of ALL the carbine specials available...and its THAT MUCH BETTER with BH carbine mods. I will always keep Chargeshot 1 & Burstshot - the 2 specials are devastating in any kind of play situation.
I really had to post just to exclaim A.) My joy of having pimp carbine skills AFTER being a Master Carbineer, B.) How screwed up it is that BH Carbine 3 is better than Master Carbineer, and I should, at the time, specified that FireKD works, but it difficult to adjust to because it doesnt have a killer animation (Im carbine 4 now and the additional mods make Charge Shot absolutely insane...I cant tell you how fast and accurate it is now, you'd have to see it, highly recommended for carbine lovers).

Why would you be a SL/Carb if you want to kill stuff? They arenot supposed to kill things. SLs lead a squad, they direct fire, rally the troops, direct (aid) movement... them shooting is a bonus. Carbineers confuse and slow the enemy. They knock down, pin, cripple, and dizzy their opponants. When its time to close in for the kill... after the enemy has been softened up... Carbineers lead the charge. Riflemen sit back and kill the baddies that Carbineers harass, thats why they hit the unhealable HAM. Every tool has its use, use them correctly...then bitch if the devs don't fix the real problems.
