Yeah I just got mine today. They really don't seem to shabby stat wise. 85SAC is liveable with a SAC powerup, and with a good damage slice, you could do fairly well with a bola.

is secrets of the syren one of the lady valarian quests? or is it something i should go to quest forums and find out for myself

It's a new story arc. Started off a little after the CU iirc. The Imperialgiver of the quest is Jevan Monsulin Bestine Cantina... Can't recall the neutral and rebel ones, but I think other one was in Theed Cantina.

I expected it to be kinetic as well; still in all, I like it. I wonder though, is it ADK-worthy? I'm not very wealthy and can't afford the extremely high-end carbines, so I'd like input if this carbine is high-end enough to deserve being eternally preserved.

I don't know why anybody thought it would be Kinetic.....it has always been clearing listed as Energy since the CU Beta.

As far as ADK worthy, well I don't care about a name as ANYBODY ADK's their best weapon period.....it is a very simple 'rule'....

Didnt expect it to be kinetic but it was a golden oppurtunity for the devs to put one in. As for the clearly being slated for energy it was also supposed to be level 40. Things changed no reason the damage type couldnt of been altered as well.
