Aphrodite: Unsliced Elite carbine
144-226 damage, 2.7 speed
Poseidon: Unsliced DXR6 carbine
188-227 damage, 2.6 speed
No power ups. Not even sure I want these sliced.

Why wouldn't you get them sliced?
What is so special about these? They look pretty basic to me....
My DXR6 is 141/264 and the Elite is 136/267.

A 2.6 speed DXR6 basic without a power up or slice? A 2.7 speed Elite? Given how tight the damage range is on that DXR, I've been dying to get my hands on it.

Well my DXR6 was 2.7 speed before slice.....my Elite was 2.5 speed before slice.....
And my Carbines are not THAT special....
Those are nice toys, but to say, "They said it wasn't possible:" is a bit much

Heh, i remember asking a while back about a sub 3 second DXR6 and was told I was reaching. But hey, they're damned nice toys. Now I'm just praying for damage slices, I suppose.

My Elite before slice was 140-246 at 2.3 in speed, so it's actually possible to be well under 3 seconds in speed. Got a speed slice at that (just typical...) so it's now at 1.6 in speed. Only good thing is I don't need speed attachments to hit the cap...
anyway, your carbines aren't at all bad, so go out and have fun with them

really not that special, maybe speed is cool for straight carbineers, but that's it

I have never seen a DXR6 with such a high min damage. It would be an insane pvp carbine for carbineers without bh.
Do you know how your ws got the min damage so high?

well, my carbine is not krayted, not nym's enhanced, nothing, just regular crafted one, damage sliced (I have another one exactly like that and another one wich got a higher damage slice)
4.1 speed (since I'm BH as well, speed doesn't matter)
208 min damage
299 max damage
this is without powerup
with powerup it ends up as
241 min damage
396 max damage
again this is not a krayted or loot made one, just regular (well) crafted dxr6 carbine.

Not sure, Raiyne's a 14 point WS with serious material strength (he's been around forever). I had them both sliced last night. A pair of speeds.
The Elite is now a 2.0 and the DXR6 is now a 2.2.

2 questions for you. First: What are the HAM costs on these weapons? Second: Assuming you're on Kettemoor, where is this guy's vendor? (Crafters on Kettemoor generally tend to be clueless, and it is hard to find DXR6's and Elites with a speed under 4, armor with encumberances under 900 (single layer), brandy that lasts 45 minutes etc)

It is possible if he got a hold of some +7 experimentation tapes, 6 of them to be exact. 1 each in the shoes, gloves, pants, hat, shirt, and jacket. Unless SEA's cap at +25 like BE clothing does. But I've never seen if there is or not, so it depends on that. I'd imagine it's rather expensive though.
