I'm curiouse to find out whitch server is the Cheapest. I'm Currently In Eclipse, and Went to Bria for a short time and found that everything in Bria was Nearly three times as expensive as they were in Eclipse. So I deleted. lol Can't see Being a new Char, and doing Missions for a Half a day Just to Buy a Crate of Canape for 200 to 300k. Waaay too Much money for the Simple stuff. Comp Armor is 300k in Bria where inEclipse it's Maybe 150k for a full set.
Whitch server out of all the SWG Servers is the Cheapest and best for New Chars to afford the Basics?

This is a very dificult question to answer. I can tell you Comp armor sells on naritus for about 220k a set last i looked. However baseing a whole servers econamy off how much a set of armor sells for....well the data will be very flawed. Im not sure how best this could be done other then chooseing 1-3 staple items from each crafting profession and makeing a small price index. That might get you close at least but there will still be bad data and some of the uber and rare items will very widely from it.
Intresting to think about though. SonethingI might work a bit on.

Well, I will have to say that there is no "cheapest" server. And I think that everyone that have played for a good time on SWG on multiple servers can say the exact same thing m8.
The reason in witch it is impossible to answare your question is cause the marked is constantly changing. Thats why it is called "Virtual economy", since its almost like in real life, just in a game, etc.
The newest thing is almost the most expensive one, and there less players there is on a server, the higher is the price. And then there comes ppl that have millions of credits that they just dont know what to do with, and they think like: "What the hell, I'll just buy 5 UBER sets of advanced composit to 500k each set, just to be sure." Okey... He do that, then the seller comes online and sees that he is filled up with credits. Cool.. Then another guy sees that that seller just sold lots of UBER armor and thinks: "Crap, I need to lower the prices, so more ppl come to me." So he do that, and advertise in Coronet about him selling UBER armor UBER cheap. So ppl go to his vendor, buy up all the armor, and then he is rich as well. Then comes the problem when everyone have the bloody composit armor, and dont need it any more (atm). So the armorsmiths see that the selling dont go so well, and decide that: "What the hell, I have plenty of money to last for a good among of time." So he stops making armor, so do the other guy. And in a few weeks, people have managed to break/sell/etc their armor, and are in need of finding new. Sure there is alot of other vendor selling comp, but few have the UBER one, so there comes an armorsmiths and crafts and UBER one and sells the whole set for 600k.
Get the picture?
The same thing happend on all the other servers, small or large poppulation. But its not like it happends on the same time. So this one month, Ahazi can be the most expensive server on SWG, and the other month, Europe-FarStar is.
And these economic rules apply to any other profession/product. Doctors, weaponsmiths and the rest of the bunch.

Servers are inflated in their own way, some servers premium crystals sell for 6-8mil, others 4mil. Some servers high quality avian meat sells for 100CPU, others up to 500CPU. It just depends on a few things, 1.) How often the items are dropped, if you have 15 loot farmers all hunting krayts the prices will go down because the market will be flooded. 2.) How often a certain resource spawns. If you don't have high quality of a certain resource for a few months, the older spawns start skyrocketing in prices, simply because crafters need that resource to continue making top of the line products. 3.) It also depends on the greed of the loot seller. Some people just have to make the max amount of money off of everything they sell. Some people just sell what they don't need for a reasonable price.
The only way to decrease inflation is for the server as a whole to stop buying things for such high prices, the only flaw with that is you always have the one smart-@$$ who thinks to himself, "I can buy this for 1mil in this auction, turn around and sell it for 2-3mil in my own"...
Anyways enough rambling, I hope I managed to get my point across...
P.S. I'm not very good at punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. So please pardon the long sentences etc.

you should compare the servers by small everyday items. Though armor is pretty good for comparison, try to compare prices for buffs, small houses, frequently used food. certain much needed ressources or power would also be good since the ressource prices dictate the prices of the products.

I've been to three servers (Gorath, Intrepid, Ahazi) and if I were to rank these it would be Ahazi (cheapest) - Gorath - Intrepid (most expensive). This is based on armor, weapon, & food prices that I've seen.
