I believe some of the larger money sinks are actually for the crafters... i.e. harvesters, factories, storage. We still have plenty of money sinks.

I think the prices for armor guns and food are starting to come down quite a bit, Some of the best Composite suits on the server or 300k or less now, used to be over 500k.

Things like mind fire weapons and SEA's are still high but that's because all the money people made from solo groups is still in play. But every time someone pays an outragoues amount of money for something it goes to someone who will more likely spread it around quicker.

I have noticed the econonomy has shrunken down a bit more. Doctor buffs are more reasonable. Foods more reasonable. Other items seem to be going down. Plus seeing as players are starting to spread out a bit more there are fewer vendor hotspots. So crafters have to get players there with better prices over convenience.

Hmm what was the wording..."in an effort to bring down the skyrocketing economy, players can no longer make 30k per mission in a solo group".

What the devs forgot to take into account is the fact that most players have amassed so many credits and resources that it's going to take years for the economy to come down.

Devs, please raise mission payouts. Even a little bit would help.

There has also been a decent wave of "inheritances" from leaving players that is ofsetting the effect of the solo-group nerf.

I actually think the truly astronomical prices have slid down a little as the big money players realize their accounts are going to grow or replenish in ways like they used to.

I also have seen an increase in the mid to upper level loot which I would attibute to middle income players selling off loot and trying to get the most for it to make-up for their shrunken income.

It will take time, and will at least keep the skyrocketing down on pay. There needs to be a way for creds to be filtered back into the game rather than just circulated from person to person. Saw a post somewhere else where they mentioned some credits go into game, trainers , starports .But , that isn't that much that is being given back.

With the people who have jtl, they will only pay for shuttleports for the most part which is even less put back into the game.Something needs to be done .Some people have way to much money in this game, and a lot of those people are willing to pay good money for items they really want.Driving prices higher and higher.

Actually they did not forget this. The mission payout was ONE step to help BEGIN to bring the economy into line. There are many steps including reasonable money sinks to bring down the amount of credits in the game. There is not a single thing that can be done to solve the probelm...and that is not an excuse to not start to solve the problem.

It's going to take a while before it comes down, it won't be an instantaneous change. In reality the new economy will probably be worse than the current one. Mission payouts are down by roughly 1/3. Crafted Goods will come down as far as it has to go, which means it's not going to drop below 1/3 but instead be a little higher than 1/3.

Think about it. You're going to reprice and reprice and reprice until you find one that sells. Resources will likely fall closer to half because the pay they receive will now be closer to the mission terminal payouts, so why not just go there.Hard to say with harvested resources on one handthe prices will stay roughly the same because at 1/3 the reward you're better off at the mission terminal. (cost of .8cpu on standard contract @ 4cpu means .5cpu profit) on the other hand they could go higher with fewer resource merchants at that price so resource spawns generate less.

So the prices won't look higher, but they really could be proportionately higher.
