Why not to access bank and deposits from anywhere?

Do you realise how sad to burry R.A of Intrepid (PRE-PUB9 Jedi), S.A of Infinity (POST-PUB9 Jedi) | .. and nameless 18 other living breathing characters?

rather than planet specific? That would be nice. I can't really see any reason why not.

Prevents people from using the bank to move planets I guess. Imagine how easy moving would be if you could just move your stuff into bank on one planet and then from the bank in another.

Ahhh.. That'd be the life.

80 inventory slots will help I guess...but an extra 100 would be nice.

I agree, I would loooove, if banks weren't assigned to a planet.

It would cut moving time down a bit, though it would still be a chore to a packrat such as myself.

Great Idea!

Also if we could allow an alt access to our bank to quickly move items between cities!

How much easier would my life be?

This is not going to change. It is a realism issue. Teleportation is a Star Trek thing not a Star Wars thing. It is a safety deposit box, you have to go to a specific place to use it. Funds can be deposited anywhere electronically, but items need to go to the home bank because they have mass and are corporial. It makes sense and if you want to split a hair about it adds a stratagy element to how you store your stuff.

Of course, this arguement is completely null and void when you think that I carry a swoop, a R3, and a sludge pather in my pocket along with several guns, armor pieces, and ship components that take up most of a room in my house.

I find it more realistic that a bank could courier over your goods via a transport ship to another bank then you carrying a suit of armor in a droids compartment. Its why most rpg's have weight as a factor in goods and not item count. Carrying 100's of datadisk's shouldn't be an issue because they really have no mass. On the other hand swg smartly limits items for database size. I would rather a fast gaming experience.

What I think is being asked is ease of movement in taking into account real time issues. While I enjoy having houses and placing items and decorating it is far to much of a hassle to move between cities and worlds. What would be really cool is a moving service fee, where you can pay an npc to temporarily boost your storage for 1 login session to 200 items. With it enabled you couldn't loot or enter combat to avoid exploiters, but it would allow for easier moving. What would be really nice is if vehicles instead of droids had storage compartments. I would find it much more believable that my AV-21's trunk could hold items than a r2 unit. Once disabled you could still call the vehicle and retrieve your items. Then limit droid storage to 1 item which is more realistic.

If you wanted a sense of realism I think those are fairly simple solutions and explainations.

Would you be willing to wait for a bank courier service? Transport between planets would not be instant. (simply because of server time at the least)

The idea of a moving service is a good idea for people moving planets. Would it be something that would be used enough to actaully be implemented?ier

Well, actually, since we can move ourselves in a minute, carrying a good should not be that long...

When I open my Item Deposit, it already takes a lot to load all the items, which case, since everything goes faster in this game, why not. We can actually access to our bank deposit anywhere...

Otherwise, it could be simply like droid calling in wild. You select items to pick, in 15 seconds, they will be in your inventory...

Fast gaming experience is always prefered in limited times of many players in all other MMORPG's. That's how it works and why not this..
