Is a desire to limit the influx of credits to the economy reason enough to stifle the only way, for many, to earn an income by requiring members of a group to hunt together and then divide the mission payment by the total number in the group?

The only reason players have grouped for hunting purposes is to raise the mission level difficulty and thus the experience gained in aspecific profession as well as an increase in pay. I never considered this improper or insufficient to warrant action be taken against it.

At present, the only reason to group with other players is for PvP, PvE,and to gain higher experience inspecific professions. This has not been impacted or changed by the recent server push. However, what has beenaffected significantly is total income derived from grouping and the recent change has not increased the desire to group to earn an income.

Imperials group "solo" with their ATSTs and are able to retrieve the highest mission difficulty levels and payouts possible. Other means to bypass the recent changes in order to earn an income include faction pets, droids, creatures, etc.

Rebel and Neutral players are at a disadvantage as well as non-human Imperial players who do not yet have the faction required to pay the inordinantlyhigh price for an AT-ST.

Thus, unless one was careful to predict this downturn in the SWG economy and save as many credits for this "black" market time as possible, the player will find it ever more difficult to earn an income within the game. This excludes anyone selling their items in exchange for credits.

The recent credit duping scam has not impacted everyone and I know for sure my bank had not increased as a result of these supposed credits "floating" around within the economy. If anything, I have seen a steady and progressive trend toward poverty on some of my characters as their typicla means of earnin gan income is in essence eliminated.

I encourage SWG Development to rethink their approach to limiting the number of credits entering the galaxies and not to accept methods that punish players. After all, if I am unable to earn an income, that directly affects the resource gurus, the crafters, the merchants, and the direct method for getting rid of credits within the economy in the first place.

If you are unable to earn an income without the use of a solo group then you may need to rethink your approach to the game. There are several posts on this board alone that will give you ideas on how to make money in today's economy.

Also, as for AT-ST use by Imperials: I don't know if anyone has made it clear or not but the Empire is supposed to be better equipped and better financed than the rebels, the use of an AT-ST being an example of that. Everyone has the choice to be neurtral, rebel or imperial and can change at any time. That being said, you shouldn't complain about the advantages/disadvantages that one has.

Everyone else isn't disadvantaged by the high cost of an AT-ST. I'm a Zabrak and I was able to put in the time to get the FP's required. Join the Empire and do the same. And I think it was good that they nerfed the solo group thing. The economy needed it because everyone was getting rich and the money wasn't going anywhere. The next thing they need to implement is a money sink so these credits actually go back into the game instead of just changing hands into another player.
