I would like for each person to consider this e-mail and do whatever you feel needs to be done with it. Please read it all before deciding.

SWG has stated that this game is a player based economy game. With this in mind they have the role and function of the Federal Reserve. The duty of SWG being to keep the economy of the game moving along smoothly. They should be trying to make an atmosphere of challenge and fun for new and old alike. To date they have done a marginal job in managing the economy of the game.

The artisans, weapons and armor smiths, businessmen and doctors have to work very hard to prefect their skills and make products that the people want to buy. They all should be allowed to make a return on the investment that they have made to the people playing. That means that the prices they charge must be enough to cover the expenses of the materials and labor plus provide a profit to them.
With what SWG has done to groups in the game it will not be long until people start to quit the game due to a lack of funds to play. It is NOT fun to play a game when you can not get ahead or even have the chance of getting ahead. If SWG wants people to play in groups then they must give the incentive to the people to play that way. Let the money be split between the group members, but only those members within 250m of where you are fighting. Put a cap on solo players of 10 or 15 or 20k depending on the level of the player if they want to discourage solo play. Let the group members get the higher pay missions and keep the money in the group that is working to earn it.

Another thing needs to be mentioned about the groups. When one group is working on a fight, they should be the only ones that are entitled to the rewards of that fight. A stronger group, (higher placed players) should not be able to move in, doing more damage per hit, and take away the reward of the fight. The only way another group should be able to take the reward would be if everyone in the original group were dead or had left the area by more than 500m.

By doing this we will be encouraged to work in groups of two or more and still help the new people in the game as it should be done. With a 30k mission and two people, the split is 15k each and still good enough to make the work worthwhile.

SWG needs to remember that the game is not just PvP, but also people working to build the society of the guilds and cities they play from and with. The PvP is a good part of the game, but it is only part. Don't change the PvP, but fix the groups back to where everyone can live and play.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW IN THE GAME OR IN YOUR GUILD. I BELIEVE SWG NEEDS TO SEE THIS E-MAIL AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE.

You can easily get ahead the idea that you cannot make money using the current system is foolish. The only reason that that idea even exists is because it is repeated over and over by lazy whiners who refuse to use their brains.

That would allow oneperson/group to tap a creature onceand letanother group do all the work. It would really makethe system a lot worse,andwouldn't fix the camping problem.

Not one single DEV hasever responded to any suggestions on any of the core forums.

So what makes you think they will take this suggestion into account ?


And, yes, crafting is important.

But -with all it's imperfections-the craftingpart of the gameworks more or less.


PVP at the other hand doesn't work at all.


So they need to deal with PVP before even more people give up on the game.
