Thread: Help Please: How do I find items I've put up for sale or have bought?

OK, here's the deal. I put up a few items for sale to different vendors. When I go to the Bazaar terminal it shows the item and gives a very general name of where the item is located. For example I know I put an item for sale at a vendor near the Mining Outpost on Dantooine. Now, the Bazaar tells me this, it actually lists the location as the "Mining Outpost." But, the item is not on the Bazzar there, I know this, besides when I try to "retrieve the item it tells me I am unable to retrieve this item at this time. How frustrating is that!!

Also, I have an item that I purchased from a vendor that I did not have room in my inventory, at the time, to pick up. The Bazaar terminal just tells me a general location!?! How can I find out where these item(s) are actually located? Is there away to just abandon the item(s) altogether? I know I should have set a WP or some such, but, alas, I did not.

And no, I do not have the email from the item purchased. I deleted it long ago not remembering I had not picked up the item.

Any help available for this? Thanks.

Items "Expire" between 30-60 days if you haven't picked them up.Either find the vendor, or watch them expire /shrug

Nnekk, make certain that you have "all" selected when searching. If you moved the selection to "Resource Container" all you will see are resource containers, and your other items wont show up.

This is the most common reason for people using Bazaars and Vendors to lose items...

I kinda misread this...there needs to be a way to get a waypoint to a vendor location after the fact for when something like this happens.

There really isn't a good system. If you bought things in on the bazaar, you can search the bazaar terminals to pinpoint the city. But if you bought it on a player vendor and just didn't pick it up before and then you delete or forget the waypoint, you're pretty much out of luck, because the game will just list your item as being in a location like Naboo. Or Corellia. Etc.

I had a similar problem, lost some good-quality Herb meat ... I offered to a vendor, and it was never bought. I had SOME idea of which vendor it MIGHT have been, but it was in a buff shack, and I wasn't paying 8k (or whatever) to just find out.

I've had this happen too.... I would like to see some waypoint you can get to see your purchase. Maybe with the new global vendor thing?
