How do you forsee the no power harvestor kits affecting the SWG economy? Since there only a 3 month Vet Reward we should see a good amount of these in game, Will they influence the resource market heavily and bring down prices? Or will they be consolidated by larger business and used to simply increase there profit margin?

One per account... won't really affect a whole lot. Increased profit.

I assume users that choose this option. will use it to decrease power costs, although; the user will have to pay maint. still. My opinion: Profit increase. Let's assume that these users were surveyors that liked to take advantage of this reward. Naturally, we could assume the market would increase since surveyors could sell without spending 'x' amount of Credits to pay both maint. and power supply costs.

People are worrying too much about how veteran rewards like the self-power harvester kit and anti-decay kits will affect the economy. First, you have to understand that each account older than 90 days can only receive one of each of these kits. Second, however unbelievable, not everyone will want one. There just aren't going to be as many of these to have anything more than a neglible affect on the economy.

I don't see this as a problem. I run 10 harvestors on 2 accounts and having 1 with unlimted power won't really change anything.

These things will barely be a blip on the economic chart
Most of the big harvester operations also provide their own power
Increasing the profit margins is a damn good thing since everyone think 3CPU is the max that you can sell resources for, even the best. Im all for anything that lets me get some more money out of this slim profit business.
Id be happy to shut down my wind power farm, in exchange for not needing power for my heavy harvesters. As a result I gain a LOT of lots back and I no longer have to dump money into the power (and its not like I am shortchanging anyone, I never buy anyone else's power anyway). For me, I will take that money I save on power and put it back into harvester maintenance. (the longer I can run those things unattended the better)

It's only one harvestor so I don't think it will influence the price a whole lot.

Agreed, this will most likely not inpact galaxtic economic waves that much, however, there is defintely coming a need from the devs to focus on the total spectrum of credit-making oppertunities, and balance them out a bit. Its getting hard for resourcers, and hard for hunters..
Theoreticlly the path of workinng harder for our credits will make us spend more wisely and meaningly, but then again doesnt this begin to corss the boundy of fun and games and enter the realistic burden of the real worlds workforce?

Question: What happens to the self-power if you re-deed the harvester? Does it poof? Is it permanatly attached to the deed? Is it like the anti-decay kit?

Best thing for people who use alot of harvestors like myself
I can keep my prices the same and lower my operating cost..I will make More $$ due to this reward
Now if you have 100 harvestors and you attach one of these sweet things on there I now dont need to use up lots harvesting for Power with fusions..I can free up those lots and drop more harvestors to make more $$ on resources.
This is only a Plus and will have a effect on the people who buy/sell power.
Im buying up every single one of these I can get my hands on. I need about 100-150 of these
And YES to the above post. When you re-deed your harvestor the Self Powered Harvestor (SPH) Deed also goes back into your inventory
THANKS SOE FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL REWARD

Only the Harvestor OWNER can use the SPH Deed. You will need to give them to the people who dropped your farm so they can attach these to them. I know it a pain in the ass..i have over 200+ harvestors out there that i need to get the people to attach these too.
People think this wont have a effect...it most certaintley does...it now wipes out RadioActive sales...miners can cut costs and make more $$
Many people relied on mining power selling at 1.5cpu - 2cpu...watch the forums..youll see people with millions of units of power trying to dump it at 1cpu-1.2cpu and getting out of the buisness because people like me not going and buying 1-2 million units of power from them anymore
Love this reward..doesnt hurt me..only makes me more rich
