Ok i've got my vendors stuff listed on the galaxy wide search, but on certain items there are A LOT available and I'm wondering how the search function initially decides who is displayed on the first page. Anyone know?
Example: Player walks up to bazaar, clicks entire galaxy, clicks armor, clicks gloves. What decides who is on that first page?

I had kinda hoped this would work by region but I guess the regoin only includes the city and not the areas just out side town.

this could have been very nice, if the categorizing and selection issues with the bazaar had been fixed before this was implemented.
something that might work, and possibly be fairly easy to implement, would be to have a "category tree" that takes advantage of information that's already linked to crafted pieces -- when you rename something, the detail includes the note "variation of" - why not group by that? similar for resources -- every resource falls somewhere on a "tree" with a known layout, so set it up that you can select as wide or as narrow a focus as you like by moving along the branches of the tree
for example:
resources - would split to "organic" and "inorganic"
inorganic - would split to "mineral", "chemical", "gas" (etc)
gas - would split to "inert", "reactive"
-- make it expandable enough that you could follow a 'branch' out to its end-point
think this might work?

Ugh, it's the same bazaar just with our vendors linked. Same refresh issues as the bazaar.
