Since SOE has raised the the rate at which items can be auctioned at has anyone had there items sell at the new rate before they could cancel the auction? If it did sell and you were not wanting it to what was the response you got from CSR? As there was no notice of the change about the new rates there are bound to be some who have their valuable items sell without the owner of that item wanting it to. I did not have an item at auction but was wanting to get some input from someone who did and lost it.

Ah. Hehe. Ok, if this happened to you, I'm sorry, but I am finding it pretty funny.
Let me guess: you put a high-price item up on the bazaar for auction at 6k as an advertisement to your vendor. Now that the cap is 20k, someone came around and placed a higher bid, since that's now allowed. What was the bargain? Krayt T21 for 20k? Loot schematics? ADK kit?

The auction max on the bazaar was 6k. Now it is 20k. So if you placed an item on the bazaar before the patch and set the price to 6k, you thought it was safe and could not sale. Now of course the max is 20k and if it was set at 6k someone is free to bid on it. If you do not know that there is a new rate you could sell it before you get a chance to cancel the auction and replace it at the new rate. This change was not shown at the patch decription window.

Yeah the changes caught me off guard, but I'm not very sympathetic with people who put their auctions up at the max auction price. I can't recall whichCSR that said it, but among some of the past complaints about people buying orders for other people (in backpacks), the response was basically "don't put it on the vendor if you don't want to sell it".

When I logged in my 6k auction items were at 20k...did it on its own.

I feel no sorrow at ALL for people who were using the Bazaar in ways it wasn't designed to support. Sure, teh DEVs screwed up making it so that you could set the MIN bid for the MAX sales price - But teh bazaar was NOT supposed to be an AD terminal, it was for AUCTIONS.

Whoever had there stuff up for auction like this and had someone actually purchase it, I am extremely happy.
Personally, the devs should setup a default price so that people can't put an auction at the maximum price preventing anyone from actually purchasing the item.

I'd also like to know what was bought?
Was it this guy who got the AV-21?
