Thread: Regarding the new Bazaar terminal abilities

I think the galaxy wide inclusion of player vendors on the Bazaar terminals is a great improvement! No more having to spend hours and hours running all over the place looking for items (which in many cases were on vendors in buildings next to nasty Mob spawns. Note to Merchants - not a great way to keep customers coming back...)

Anyway, I really like the new abilities - I think it's good for customers and Merchants alike. However I would suggest changing the tabs across the top as they are very confusing right now. The "All Auctions" tab should be relabled "General Bazzar Items" or some such and the "Vendor Location" tab should say "Public Merchant items" or the like as this is really what they show. If I werenew player this would frustrate me to no end (and obviously irritates me as a veteran player).

And while we are on the subject of vendors - can we please get some loving to the catagory listings? Why are therestill things like "Armor Powerups" and "Entities" listed here? The system could use a revamp publish of its own....

Mob spawns occur quite frequently. Merchants do go do other things like RL, combat and travelling. Surely you don't expect them to constant hover around their shops and clean up any spawns around it.

No no. Quite the opposite. They should look for safe places far from horrid spawn points to put their shops. It's easier on them to restock and it's easier on customers to get to the vendors inside.

Can't tell how many timeI've just had to look on the world map for a vendor type (cntl-V), thentravel out to some remote little town (and a few big ones) just to see the house surrounded by Sludge panthers, etc... (not all of us are Uber LEET combat types thattake ten seconds to swat such "pests"). Then IF I make it inside, finding onlytwo or three(crappy) items on the vendor Iwanted to look at. This new system sure cuts a lot of that out!

That would be a player city, otherwise how else would you control random spawn points? There are no sites that are buildable that aren't NPC or player city that can't be creature spawned.
