I just finished an order from an Architect for 50k units of Dath hides which took me 5 days(spawn changed after day one and had to start over, lol). It seems that post CU,certain planets will most certainly be off limits for the solo creature harvester(still waiting for TC to advance enough to see). I curently keep my prices low (7cpu) since I have a doctor friend who buffs me without charge but after the CU and the need to group with several others to fill an order like this,I see a massive increase in price.
Now,this was me coming home from work and heading to Dath 10 mins after loading, fully buffed and ready and doing nothing but hunting for 5 days straight. What do you think groups will be charging for the same amount when you also factor in that it appears even small groups will most likely haveahard time on Dath? This wasnt even and order given to me based on the quality, quality didnt matter in the instance.
Just one of my concerns as this is my main source of income and it looks like i'm stuck hunting woorts for hides from now on after the CU.

I'm predicting a massive glut in creature harvesting.
For Armorsmiths, it appears it will only needed for the armor "skin", so it seems stats will not matter.
Also, I don't think people will be buffing as much. Since it will be a 20% buff, I don't foresee people spending the money for it except for PvP and very high end PvE.

I keep hoping TC will advance soon to see what sort of resources are needed and if it's possible to still have a customer base for me. One thing I see happening is more time consumption,if it takes 2 to 3 times longer to kill a creature then that is 2 to 3 times longer to fill orders. I can't wait to see what the elite prof's can do once they hit TC.
I just don't see a group of people going out and gathering largequantity stacks of creature resources(large #'s needed for schematic factory runs) without charging a whole lot more.
If those of us(most especially Rangers) who earn our income by doing what we like to do,and that isgathering creature resources,no longer have a place in our economy then I see and unfortunate decline in players. I for one will not stay with this game if i'm not able to do what I enjoy. Keeping my fingers crossed that I still have a place in this game after the CU.
