Where are the space stations that buy ore and stuff? how do i remove ore from my cargo hold??? its full and I cant stand it!

You start mining by buying a mining laser and cargo hold from a shipwright or due themission fromFlash on Kashyyyk on the first level of the big tree and he will give you what you need to start. To find a station in space that will buy your resources press the ' key until you come across one and then press \ to talk with them.

Does anyone know which professions require space resources? And also how much they need of what? Trying to get a good amount going to try and help out those who need it, but can't neccessaraly get it for themselves.
Also do we know if the stats shift like ground resources?

The only proffesion that can use the space resoruces are Shipwrights. 
Im not 100% shure but i think its all about were you mine the reosruces.

DE also use them. For shipwrights, they are not worth the trouble. The items that are crafted with it are no better than what we can make with normal resources and the mass is out of this world.

Not true, you can craft cargo holds, all of the new texture kits, and all the other new things only when you have these new resources from asteroids. It is not possible to craft them without. And no old items require them.

artisan can use some of the resources....
and a little warning to original poster.. if you want to sell your resources to a station- do not remove them from your cargo hold, since the station will not buy resources that are in your inventory

When you land, access your ship in your datapad. There should be an option in the radial dial to unload your cargo hold. The resources will then go into your inventory.

Artisans use the carbonaceous asteroid and petrochemical asteroid tomake BARC Repair Kits.
I don't remember how much we need, but I *think* it's 750 units of each for each kit.
