I know there have been hundreds of complaints about this but not under one thread. Now, I don't give a damn that only new people can get the BARC....that being said it is inevitable for the price of the BARC to be outrageous. Especially since buying the actual product is the only way to get it. I'm all for something as cool as that being worth a large stockpile of credits. I have about 55mil to my name and would be happy to drop about 5mil on it.

However, how could it have been overlooked by the devs that there would be an absolutely absurd influx of cash to the n00b population? One of two things happens....either it's a Jedi flashing their saber and tossing a few hundred thousand to an awestruck n00b. OR you've got your rich crafter or loot reseller with insane amounts of cash throwing 5-10mil at these guys. I had a guy in Mos Eisley sending tells to random people asking if they wanted to buy his BARC for 18mil. I'm a auction junkie and, even on the ahazi server, these things are buying out between 5mil-8mil. And a n00b has the nerve to ask to sell me his bike for 18mil....nearly 5x what their worth.

I don't propose a fix. I don't propose a boycott. I'm not asking anyone to do anything or pushing for something to occur. I just want to point at that this oversight could quite possibly royally f*ck the economies of all servers....let alone the servers that had major problems w/ cred duping like Ahazi.

P.S. Although this is a relatively new account. I'm a day 1 vet....well....day 2 actually but we wont go there.

Good post more need to be Barking mad at the Barc bull

There was a time I had a fairly large bank account but I refuse to purchase something like this from a newer player...not because I would not want to help the newer player but SOLELY because this SCREWS witht he economy and the game ethics in VERY pertinent ways!

If the BARC is supposed to be special . . make it like the goggles . . no trade/no sell.

agreed the barc price it outrageus,more stuff are but especially the barc!now ima noob(lvl 21 and ive still got lots to learn)but i know enough not to run around asking ppl to buy for 18 mill LOL,in fact ive grown so f'ng attached to the thing i would take any amount for it ROFL!,but IF i realy wanted to sell it i would for about 2mill maybe one....but youre right a noob with millions of credits is just not right....

Dont you have sompthing better to do then reading other peoples signatures?

if someone drops 18 million on a barc, they are not worry about money or are able to make it back very quicky.

I think its a one per account type of thing like the vactral (however you spell the bloody thing). You only get one on one toon on one server, only one time ever.So, you better pick right the first time or your out.

If they made it where you could keep getting them with each toon, then the DD people like myself just got screwed since we only get one for only one toon for only one server ever.
