how about a tab in house console that lets you know how many people have visited your house? that would be great for us people who have done a lot to decorate their house, in which besides being there, is only rewarded by the good feeling of seeing others enjoying it too! great idea huh.....

This might not be the best fix in the world, but how about setting up a one credit entry fee into your house? That way you get an email everytime someone enters. You would have to get the necessary skill of course...but yes, I think this is a good idea.

I'm sure I never got a mail telling me I received a credit, while I had my shop with 1 cr. entrance fee (and yes, there were customers in there
)
Generally I would love this idea, it would tell me, how many people visit my shop. I could then see, how many actually bought something and find out, whether I do good salesper customer entering my shop or not.
Right now the only thing I see is: Having good sales or having bad sales. When it's good sales I'm happy, when it's bad sales, I have no idea whether no one visits my shop or whether I have visitors, but they don't purchase anything.
Even better for merchants:Number of visits per vendor (split by last 24 hrs, last 7 days, last 30 days). Would give the possibility of more detailled analysis.

Although I have no vendors, I think it would be cool if there was a breakdown over what commodities were bought in "x" amount of time.

How about something else to add to all the other junk in-game. Automatic souvenir dispensers that activate once you leave a house designated as a business (requires the skill Designate Structure as Business). That way you can check the vendor to see how many souvenirs were given out.
