Thread: Are we ever going to see an In Concept Vendor thread?

When last we heard from Tiggs. The entire vendor reform was put on hold for consideration. Now both sides of the debate are left in limbo. What is being considered, what is not being considered? We don’t know.


Personally I was in favor of the reform, however I respect the fact that it was withdrawn for reconsideration due to player input. Since most of us agree that at least some change is needed, when are we going to see an In Concept discussion thread?


After all, the idea was reconsidered due to player input, doesn’t it just make sense to start an In Concept thread on the topic?


Just my two credits.

considering how quickly and viciously the thread turned into a 1 star flame and rant war..

I would hope we do not see another until a new system has been worked out, and once again submitted for us to mull over.


while I do believe that our voices need to be heard, I think they were,

and if folks did not post pros and cons and their own concepts in the original thread..they wasted a post.


yes we are all waiting to see what will happen next,

but the give and take system of development means we must wait and sometimes wait blindly.

I would say the answer to the thread title would be "Yes". Or maybe another 'In Dev', depending on how ready-for-primetime they think the design is. I think they jumped the gun a little with the previous iteration, they were a bit too focused on simplifying things on the buyer's side without evaluating what that would effect on the seller's side.


When it'll show up isa whole 'nother ball of wax...
