OK this is nuts, this is not the first time, but its getting much worse. Yesterday I put down 20 harvesters from two accounts, and came back today to find that 3/4ths of them had not collected resources for 24 hours, 5 of them have 20k units collected, and the others have just the 4 to 6 units that I painstakingly observed yesterday machine by machine to verify that they were operating before I closed the interfaces and moved away. Its as if they stopped operating the moment I closed the interface.
I have no idea if they're collecting even now, though I've just watch them again. I'm out 15 x 25k units for a day's production and have no doubt that this will continue.
HARVESTERS ARE BROKEN
I posted a bug about it about a week ago when it happened on another spawn, again a rare doc resource, and here I am a week later and its still happening, on another good doc resource spawn. I was smarter this time and came back to check it the next day, and am mortified to discover most of them not producing.
What is going on? Without harvesters I'm dead in the water and there's no point playing. Zilch from harvesting 24 hours on what should be a prime 97% spawn. I'm ready to toss it in folks.
P.S. I posted another bug on it, and filed a ticket. Need a status folks. I can't sit there and watch them like a pot cooking. This happened with the factories, now its the harvesters. To a crafter, this is a #1 Red Alert Alpha Priority.

Calm down your title a minute, relax, and have faith for a hotfix.

I haven't seen a post on this in the "In Live - Issues" thread. Maybe you should post it there?

Strange , I put down a farm of 10 on 1 spot and 5 on another and no problems whatsoever.

I've had an issue where I would switch resources after one despawned, and it looked like the harvester was on. Turns out it wasn't, but all I had to do was just close the window, open operate machinery again, and turn it on. Not really that big of a deal.

We'revets, notnewbs. The harvesters have always done this to some small degree, but this is wholesale borking. powered and maintenanced up for more than a week, watched the hopper to make sure they were operating, watched each one as the first half a dozen units came into the hopper and closed the interface. I did this because this has gotten worse and requires this kind of babysitting. For me,like on lok wheat last spawn, as soon as I closed the interface, 75% of them stopped immediately, because I found the machines "operating" next time i returned with only 6 units in the hoppers.
I've noticed that adding admins or changing structure names in the past results in them stopping production, even though they indicate that they're on, never do one of these things as your last action, always have to open the hopper and make sure they're really producing. It's nuts.
If I can't harvest, I'm dead, as a crafter. Game over. So ya, count me in as one unhappy customer. Babysitting harvesters for entire online sessions is not gaming. This is an urgent issue.

I have had this and other problems since i started playing in nov2003!!! Anothernastybugis i put 30k of maint in a harv come back 3 days later and all the maint is gone and the harv is now 50% damaged. Or has vanished completely. Lostat leasta dozen of them this way before the patch that allowed them to take money from my bank account.
