Thread: Hopefully SOE will follow suit with a similar crackdown (link enclosed)
There's a big difference though - Blizzard's policy is different from SOE when considering what's acceptable and what's considered an exploit/cheating.
SOE doesn't exactly approve of afk macros, but they don't consider it an exploit per se, or at least isn't going against the Terms and Conditions. Instead of banning accounts, they find ways of preventing such actions - for instance, harvesting pops up that box once in a while, and until you make an action the macro stops.
As far as "credit farming," I don't know how effective SOE can catch it (not very well considering it's been going on with EQ for years). I do know that accounts have been banned by doing this, just not how many.
The main difference between SOE and Blizzard is this - With SOE games, anything you can do with the game client IS legal (afk macros, combat macros...), as long as it isn't an obvious exploit of code. With Blizzard, things you can do with the client CAN be considered cheating, and rather than try to stop the cheating they just ban the violators.
SOE > Blizzard

im clicky impaired though
But ya atleast Blizzard is dealing with this problem
It's easy. When you're writing your entry, enter into html edit mode. Say you read cnn.com. You want the statement, "I read cnn.com." When you're in html edit mode. You can start your thread, you can use <br> for simple carriage returns and <p> for new paragraphs. If you want a new paragraph, if you start a paragraph with <p> at the end of the paragraph you need to put </p>, but anyways to make your clicky, you need to use this line <a href="http://www.cnn.com">CNN</a>. So in html mode, if you want the statement "I read cnn.com" to be a clicky. You would put" I read <a href="//www.cnn.com">cnn.com</a>. " The <a href="_________"> opens the link statement. cnn.com is whatever message you want the clicky to say. </a> is the link closure notation.
