It makes me laugh that soe need feedback on how to improve the economy. NPC vendors are a must to stop what has seemed to make swg a laughing stock amongst online games. Stuff like resources or food and weapons itself should be available to buy oh and maybe scrap the ideas of harvestors as it has to be said they suckwhen keeping the economy stable. This game has problems and u guys know it so stop trying to keep us sweet by offering us new furniture etc as its gettin to be pretty boring.

I am operating under the assumption by NPC you mean ones that sell stuff from the system and not player owned. Because players already own NPC vendors. One of the reasons they have trouble getting feedback is people s suggesting things such as destroying the player economy, or taking out harvestors. What makes swg a laughing stock is not, nor has it ever been the economy. It is actually one of the most in depth and well run, and get's many people interested in the game(many of the crafters/merchants). What makes it a laughing stock(if it can be called such) is it's problems with people being way way too overpowered. Harvestors don't suck when keeping the economy stable, in fact they have little effect on economy stability. What does effect it is money going out vs money going in. And this would also basically destroy the crafting profs, which would really hurt the game. Umm yes this game has problems which is why they are constantly tweaking it, and working hard to make the game good. See the thing is its hard to know what to do when you have idiots suggesting things such as ruining the economy, and then you have other people saying intelligent stuff. When you don't have clear markers of an idiot like talking about "keeping us sweet by offering us furniture", it can be really hard to tell whos suggestions to heed.

I played WoW for 1 month and hated the NPC vendors. I liked the SEG economy so much better. And if the DEVS fixed every little bug at once we wouldn;t have new content which would make the game die. I rather have a somewhat buggy game then a lack of content game. They DO FIX Bugs but not at the speed you want.

SWG is not a laughing stock amongst online games. Now grow up or go play with your X-box.

NPC vendors are a NO.
next we'll have NPC Buffers, NPC Dancers...

The game is a MMORG ..."MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER" Not "Massive NPC" game.

The reason I am in the game is to craft and sell items I made not to have NPC and loot run the game I had enough of that in EQ its why I left that game. The concept of a player based economy is at risk enough from legendary looted items that are totally out of balance with what can be crafted with out a WoW loving troll poking his head in the economy forum.

They must be talking about the loot items for a couple patches ago. Like the blue couch and modern end table. Just 1 use loot schematics.

Architects have not gotten any new schematics for a long while.

doesnt necessarily mean that he is a newb or just a troll (even though i believe that is the case) simply put he may have multiple accounts and tags and didnt want to post with his main-im not i tend to post with this account #3 so it doesnt accurately reflect my date time post counts

however i do not agree with the original poster especialy since i have been a crafter from the beginning and will be a crafter until the day i leave this game harvesters are a necessity venders are a necessity and i would like to see a few improvements to the NPC venders we have turning the game economy over to them is ludicris too say the least
