I know this has been brought up before, but I wanted to start a new thread on this subject.
I'm getting ready to start my own company. I will be providing products from the below mastered crafting professions:
Artisan
Architect
Chef
Combat Medic
Doctor
Droid Engineer
Tailor
I have ran a business prior that was fairly successful. Had to pull it since I was leaving the game for a while. Now that I'm coming back in full force, I'm trying to think of how to make the game more profitable (in game) and fun for others.
I am proposing this idea to you all to help impliment. If another player invests money into my company, and I keep a running record of costs/sales/profits, then I should be able to run some kind of points system to show what my stock is worth. Granted I could just make things up, but what fun would that be?
I'm looking for ideas to make this work. I know of no better place to ask than here. Let the posting begin.

you could "tweak" the system in your favor, jip the customer and i think the investor might realize that, but if you are trustworthy and they know you are then go for it

A friend miss-spelled it like that one day, then that very night i watched Snatch. If you haven't seen it, it features a Jewish Jeweler trying to get his hands on a huge diamond that he hired some other dudes to snatch from some Jews. Part of it is to mock my friend, the other part is because I like the play on words/allusion to Snatch. I guess I was trying to get a nifty business name like "Kwik Ka$h". I donno, does the Jewler work, or should i change it to Jeweler?

The guy's not Jewish I believe. Do what you like. Might make more sense in-game to spell it correctly.
