Thread: Sell resources too???
Resources, such as metal, chemical, meat, bone, etc, are used by various PC crafting professions. As far as I know, there are no NPCs that buy resources, but, you can sell (on a vendor) your resources to other PCs. Depending on the material, you can usually ask for 2 - 5 cpu (credits per unit of resource). If you have small amounts to sell (say 0 - 2000 units), then you might try and sell your resources on any bazaar across the galaxy.
Hope this helps
Regarding resources, one possibility is to find someone who is trying to start a recycling business, or has a recycler for their own purposes. If I had one, I would probably offer the minimum prevailing rate (1 cpu nowadays) for anything that would work in my recycler.
A better bet for combat toons is selling the low-end loot to junk dealers, because it saturates the general market at the moment.
For crafting toons, running artisan missions between NP cities is good for a few thousand an hour (unless it got the nerf bat treatment too). Some routes are far more lucrative than others; I don't remember which, but it pays totry various ones. This is terminally boring (pun intended), and not recommended forserious income.Try to avoid cities with aggressive thugs if you have low combat level, unless you like slowing down your credit accumulation rate with periods of incapacitation.

But yes selling resources is still a good way to make a credit.

What is recycling? (sorry I'm new too =/ )
There are items that can be made in game called 'recyclers'. They require a lot of loot items to make them so they are fairly rare / expensive.
A recycler can take a resource and transform it into a generic equivalent with all stats at 200.
So if you have 3 diferent stacks of polymer and lub oil you can put them through the recycler and get the same processed chemical out as a result.
Recycled materials are good for making crafting items where the resource quality doesn't matter. One key benefit is that you don't have to worry about running out of the resource. And the recyclers are good for taking misc. scrap stacks of various low quality resources and consolidating them into one bigger stack.

As said above NPCs don't buy resources with the exception of asteroid mining.
