when is this going to be fixed? flooding the economy with + 25 attachments and premium crystals

id love to get my hands on a premium as i will be jedi in a matter of days...however i cant solo them because im still a normal prof and good luck finding a jedi to share the premiums with you since they are so starved for them in the first place

Sorry to inform you, this is not an exploit. The only bug here is that the cell door blocks line of sight.

And +25 to most skills means very little to the people who could buy those attachments. It's a *good* thing when these attachments and crystals are flowing relatively freely.


Your agenda is all too clear: you've established a niche vendor for a high-level market and you're disturbed when you perceive that people are undermining your little corner.


Adapt.

If there is a bug there that could be used to peoples advantage then you can be sure that *some* people are exploiting it.


The mere existance of high end mobs that drop good tapes is not an exploit of course.

They placed the cell door there, because SOE believed it would stop people from farming the mission. But, people discovered the "unstick" bug, which allows you to converse with the NPC. Also, you do not need to be jedi to solo these. A Rifleman with a root can do these too.

It is not intended that u cannot do the mission. The inability to talk to the guy in the cell is a bug. Bypassing a bug is not exploiting.

Actually bypassing a bug that gives another player an edge over others and isnot intended, is exploiting my friend. There will always be people who will cheat the game to make it big.A lot of people do it in real life too, and they get caught. While not everyone is caught inside the game, I think it is the most dishonorable thing a player could do to get ahead of others who work hard. I have worked hard for my money, I would rather have 100k I earned then have 40 million I would have cheated for. Remember that money isn't everything in this game, you can still have a great time with a bit of cash, and a great time with no cash.

Bottom line is, with a large player base, players will ALWAYS outsmart devs and find a way around things. It's been proven many times before, and will be proven many more times in the future.


Theseverity of the consequence for the players that continually circumvent these bugs is the real issue here, not the fact that they actually do it.

The exploit is not doing the mission, the exploit is doing it over and over again. I don't care if people are getting these high end attachments though, that mission as well as many others on Dathomir have been bugged for a long time. So i say more power to the people who exploit this mission, its payback for all the bugged ones in the game.

Especially as of late, many people have flooded the market with these high-end attachments, severely decreasing the value and rarity of them. At least on Ahazi, this has made an impact on the economy.

On my server, there is someone who keeps doing the locked briefcase mission over and over.


This person is an exploiter because you are only suppsed to do missions once.


I have been trying to sell my locked brifcase for 5 million credits for months now, but this guy keeps farming them and selling them for 10k.


I guess there are cheaters in every game.



Also, recently there was a line of sight bug where you could not use cloning terminals. The cheaters still managed to use it using the /clone command though. *Sigh* Why is it every game I play there are always cheaters.

ocu...whoever buy this from you, I feel sorry for him/her. Being scamed aint not funny.
