Thread: CURB??? How about and ECO-RB (Economic Rebalance
- Doctor: Used to be one of the top professions for making money. Now, buffs aren't needed, wound healing perhaps and the ability to rez...Yippy, what a waste of $16 per month
- Architect: Most servers have maxed player cities, many cities have their own architects to support growth and with the lack of people interested in crafting since it's a waste of time to be a crafter anymore, harvesters and factories aren't worth crafting and don't sell.
- Dancer: Ummmm...Do I even need to say that this is a useless profession to anyone? It is fun to play one, but no more money coming your way, sorry peeps.
- Weaponsmith, Chef, Shipwright, Armorsmith are all in a similar boat...One or two good ones can support a server now with all the loot items and regardless, a smuggler can max slice most weapons so the UBER weapon of this past is more average now. Armor is lootable too...Chef, foot is important but again, I go to one only...
- Artisan: I used to make 1-5 million a week on bikes and haven't sold more than 2 bikes in a month. The BARC concept is killing the economy and repair kits cost to much to get the resources from space. What a Joke.
- Tailor, Who is going to bust there but to hold millions of credits worth of clothes over months and months to get rich 1K at a time???
- Scout/range...Come on what money...
- Bio Engineer...To much reponsibility for one profession...
So many changes weren't thought out and now the game suffers. Oh, perhaps SWG should pay the longtime players credits to explain the game to the newbies too. That is getting old too. I love to help people, but I once had over 100 millioon credits...now, I'm lucky if I have 15 million left. Hard work doesn't pay...

we have talked of this on our own server...here is the summary......
They Dev's are going to elimate crafting from the game one day....that will be the end result.

I get this feeling, too. The CURB did a lot of damage to the crafting professions. And I thought I read a post somewherethat theDevs might have a "Crafting Rebalance"in the works. I get the feeling it will be more like a crafting nerf, dumbing down everything to make it more "accessible" to the masses. /shudder

Let's be brutally honest for a moment the previous money making professions have been ruined and loot is the only way to make money now. In addition, there is no interdependance anymore and eventually the economy will fail on every server.

I wonder if they realize that adults are the ones who play this game, not children. Dumbing down makes it nothing more than WOW like...If I wanted a combat game I would just spit on my neighbors in RL...
