So I played the game like 2 years ago and just did missions to make money, I reloaded my game and my carachter was still there which was good, I had no clothes though and no money. So I ran around in boxer shorts for like 2 hours killing thugs and looting like 10 credits, finnaly got enough for a pair of pants. Now Im running around topless and cant do any missions, the missions I accept get me owned in seconds. How am I supposed to make money now. Without being able to do missions I think Im in rough shape. Anyone have any thoughts on this....they would be helpful.

Ouch, did you have skills and stuff when you left..? Best bet is to ask someone for 1k or so.. some people will /ignore ya but it might help. Or go to your server forum and ask people there, might be nicer.

A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

Great, thanks for the ideas. I definetly wouldnt beg for credits. I am combat level 14 and yes I have a bunch of weapons, but they are like level 50+ to use Im trying to sell my vet rewards so should get some cash for that. As for joining hunting groups I'd like to but habe no clue how. I'll figure it out though, probably just take some time to get back in the swing of things.

Join a guild, make some friends. Heck, you sound like a perfect candidate for the particular guild I'm in. Why don't you pop over to Kettemoor and talk to Aomi.

Might just do that, should take about a week or 2 of killing thugs to get the transport fare. but I'll mark the name down.

There are alternatives besides begging. You don't mention where you are on the skill tree. And was your entire inventory stripped bare, like your character? Weaponless, tool-less? If you are actually that destitute, you'd be more wealthy with a new character!

If you still have a weapon, or the unarmed fighing skill, your absolute best bet is to join a hunting group and earn some mission credits that way. The game you knew before is not here in that form. Group hunting reigns supreme for money and experience.

If you are low on the skill tree, with spare skill points, there are two alternatives to improve your financial position. The novice artisan box lets you take crafting missions. (You need 100 credits to buy the skill box) Two of those missions from mos eisley to anchorhead can give you a profit over 2000 credits, assuming you have the price of a shuttle ticket, or a vehicle. (New charactersget a vehicle as part of the new player tutorial.) The second best alternative for combat (with the first best alternative for combat since the CU always being to group!) would be to pick up the novice medic box. My rifleman character has no armor, and no buffs, but the medic healing skill, plus advancing the healing line as my character advanced, has actually allowed some solo hunting. With the double xp, solo hunting is actually profitable. I thoughta solo huntwas almost extinct post CU, but the healing skill makes it doable. As you have probably already discovered the hard way, you can't fight two of anything anymore. You have to pick your fights one creature at a time, and recover in between before picking the next target. If you have stopping shot and healing skills, or good stim packs, you can even fight one yellow con creature.

If you are high on the skill tree, you need the right stim packs. Any character can use a healing stim pack, with no medic skills. The A, B, C, and D packs have progressively higher healing power, but require progressively higher combat levels to use them. (Except you are so broke I know you can't afford these.)

JTL is always a good way to get credits. But you may not have that if it's been that long since you played before.

It's just I hate to see begging in game. Good luck.

Your vet rewards should fetch you a good deal of money. Anti-decay kits go for 8 to 10 million on Corbantis, if you have one of those.

Don't beg for money. Very tasteless. espically since you are almost a master marksman. youj are close to combat level 14. You should be able to handle your self.

First. do the Mos Eisley Quests. They'll get you into the swing of the game and provide some quick easy credits without wasting too much time.

Second. You should have an abundance of skill points. Pick up some additional skills to compliment your exsisting skills. With novice artisian you could at least harvest the resources you need for some clothes. Add Scout to that. Now the level one rills and rats you can kill easily outside of mos eisley can provide you with the raw resources you need for selling for credits or materials to make things with. If you move up a few points on the scouting tree the movement bonus will benefit you and To Hit Creature Bonus and Mask Sent isn't too bad either. You just give them up when you are at higher levels and need extra skill points.

Third. Group when you can. Doesn't matter if it is a Player Group or Pet/Droid/Faction group. Though player groups proivide benefits that a NPC group cant match. As Has Already been suggested, Search for a guild. You do sound like a player that would benefit from a guild.

Fourth. Be Patient and Have Fun.

Get yourself to the mining outpost on Dantooine. Once there you can join a hunting group and within a couple of hours you'll have enough credits to buy a vehicle at least, along with a few new names for your friends list. If you can't afford the ticket to Dant then you should beg, just not for credits, but for someone with a multi-person ship to give you a lift. Since you're a vet tho, you should be able to use your Sorosuub yacht to go where you please, just claim it and use the ship terminal to 'travel' there.
