Yeah, it's a fun lifestyle. Player content is a great canvas for creativity and if you do right, a path to riches, fame, and power. Virtual riches, fame, and power to be sure, but riches, fame, and power nonetheless.

Has anyone else had the luck to have interns work for you?
I've had around 8 players enter into my intern program since I started it 9 months ago. The first and only task they had to do as an intern was dirty, boring, and took a lot of time. They had to prove themselves to even begin as an assistant.
Five made it through the internship and three dropped out.
The five who made it have done very well running events and running unconventional businesses. The ones who are no longer in my employ are always open to jumping on a project if I have a need.
It's a great system if you are in the right business (player event creation in my case). The nice thing about player content creator interns is that they usually go on to produce some really great work for the benefit of the galaxy.
God bless interns.

I produce player content for a SWG living. I've been a promoter of events since August of last year. I've made about a half billion credits or so from my events and other side businesses.
My Groovefest party series has seen 3-4Bcr spent in the malls and got an 85Mcr sponsorship fee for the last one, GF6.
People want to work for me because I teach them how to do what I do. They are willing to do a sh1tty job (sorry, I can't give away what they have to actually do, propietary and all) for a few weeks to move up in my organization. They start out helping out with events and parties and weddings and eventually move up to running smaller events and weekly shows. If they have passion and drive and intelligence, they can do very very well for themselves.
They make great money, get to make players happy, and get to do a job the vast majority of SWG players don't even know exist.
But they all start out as interns.
