Thread: connecting flights
Hello
Slow day here at work just thinking about this what do ya think?
Wouldnt it be kind of cool to be able to go a week without someone rehashing the same old ideas about shuttle wait times? So it wouldnt make me have to write posts like this.

Wouldn't it be kind of cool to be able to read a post without some idiot complaining about reading a redundant thread. If you don't want to participate go somewhere else. Does anybody else get annoyed by self appointedforum police who feel they have to read and comment on every thread including ones that don't interest them?

Allowing for "connecting flights" when purchasing a ticket would mean that though in theory your character was still hopping from Naboo to Corellia in order to procede to Dantoine, you could simply pay a single, higher ticket price on Naboo and arrive directly on Dantoine.
This would reduce the multiple load times currently involved in broad interplanetary travel that only serve to break the illusion of the in-game universe and allow players low on cash to know exactly what the cost of the whole trip is going to be.
Though the original intent may have been to promote player interactivity while visiting various ports, I find that aside from the usual hotspots, there are rarely many people around a given port anyway. Also, the newly reduced shuttle wait times mean that someone simply trying to reach a given destination isn't haning around very long.
