I have said this time and time again and hopefully someone listens. Players go solo and use there little tactics or exploits to dominate the huge monsters for there loot. The feet of killing a 400k ham krayt by yourself nets you a huge sum of cash.
Now how does one get a krayt pearl? Missions are hopeless to get enough cash, and u really have to be a crafter non-combat person to get that kind of cash to make it.
Well groups should be able to get the same item say a krayt pearl for each person. Now comes (its not fair) but is it fair for 1 person to get the loot that 20 other peopple helped kill? This will lower prices.
Grouping is essential for getting things in the Death Watch Bunker which is the hardest instance ever. People dont go there because they want loot and they are greedy they ant ccash so they run in hope to kill something then run back out. some peopel get lucky, otheres dont. We need a system where people all get the same thing because everyone contributed to that kill.

I don't think so. So you're saying in a group of 20 people that each person should get a pearl? Yeah right, that would definitely devalue the pearl. I think a lot in this low-tech economy and manufacturing system has to do with the inequality in the system. You have a lot of opportunity cost in the game. Finding the right product at the right price. It's not always very easy to get the cheapest best in the game and sometimes you have to settle for less or pay more, assuming you can find anything in the first place.
Our advertising abilities are pretty limited. Barking at bazaars and starports is like several thousand years old. Parts are modular only to short runs. We're still basically running a cottage manufacturing system. I think the game is made that way to perpetuate the inequality.

How about you define what is wrong with the economy before you begin to tell us how to fix it?

Randomize loot or go with friends. Flooding the market is never a good idea in my opinion.
