I don't know if this has been brought up before, but last night I was browsing vendors, via the bizarre, and I noticed something strange.I think the Galaxy wide vendor searchhas aflaw.
One item, the Hutt Greed anniversary painting, kept coming up on each pagerefresh, same item- same price- same location- same distance- same entrance fee, and no I did not have it selected. I thought this was kind of odd after going through about 20 pages.
I restarted the search from page one, but I created way points for this particular item, whichhappened to be the same coordinates for all twenty way points I just created. I then went to a different NPC city and repeated my search, with the same results, 20 pages, 20 way points for the same item.
I then traveled to the way point(s) and paid the 1cr entrance fee. There was only one vendor in this small generic house.
So I selected the vendor to view it's contents, expecting to find twenty ( 20 ) the Hutt Greed anniversary paintings, I was shocked only to find ONE item on this vendor, and it was the Hutt Greed anniversary painting.
I just find it odd that the same item appeared on every page of the search on two different bizarre terminals at two different locations.

What kind of item was it? If it was craftable, there might've been multiple items with the same name/price/serial (if it was factory manufactured). Did you happen to check the vendor you made a waypoint for to see if it had 5-10 copies up for sale?
Still, the item sorting is pretty screwed up. For one thing, a given page usually has about 200 items, but "next page" only increases by 100; so you go from viewing "items 205 - 410" to "items 306 - 520". And even unique items (loot components, for example) can stick around for quite a few pages.

Please re-read my post, the answers to your questions were already posted in my original post.

Yeah, I've noticed this... and last time I checked there were 5 items that I kept seeing over and over... there may have been more but that handful were all really noticeable.

This has been happening on the bazaar for quite a while and the coding for the GWVS seems to be the same/similar, so the same bug is occuring there too. You just learn which items appear to be repeats and which appear to be unique.

That's not the only bug. Since the feature's inception, I haven't done much but seek resources from the vendor search, only to find that they don't exist at the price mentioned at the bazaar terminal. Is this why I haven't sold much of anything since the update?

Yeah i noticed that too about how items are staying on the vendor screen. Kinda is unfair for those who are a couple pages deep on the vendor search.

Yeah that's bug seems to happen to me to. It's kinda annoying.
Maybe they can put a setable price cap filter, it'skinda annoying seeing the same "Krayt Pearls Bag" selling for99999999 on every page I go to...
If you like your sanityDON'T do a galaxy wide search on Factory Crates.
