are thay going 2 add space mineing??? someone tell me if thay are :-0 i hope so ^^

Yes. According to an interview that was posted a few days ago, you access space mining by doing some kind of quest. Then you shoot asteroid and collect the chunks of resources that blow off. Kind of like a 3D version of Asteroid Blasters. In more dangerous areas pirates might attack you while you're harvesting. Should be interesting to see how it works out.

It's the one addition they didn't steal from eq2 or WoW, they stole it from EVE online

...but the Dev quote I saw didn't make it clear if resources mined in space would be useful for existing schematics. They said they would not "compete" with existing resources, but would instead be used to make new things.

Easy for everyone to do it as well since you do not need a mining ship to do it. You can even take your starter ship. Although it will fill up REAL fast... It uses the remaining mass i think
