I was looking for some computer parts on ebay and I was bored so I made a new tab in Firefox and searched for swg and this came up:

I just gotta say wow, the person puts their account name which is most likely within 24 hours to be banned since its against the rules to do sell accounts, or credits.
Anyone think this stuff is getting a little bit too far, I saw my friend posted his jedi on eBay and wants get this, $1500 for it. Just f-ing rediculous.. come on, I can't believe this has gone from like little things on there to now everyone thinking they can get rich quick from selling a like 2 day grinded character, haha, its funny, and I know this has been happening since day 1 of the game, but don't you think that now everyone's trying to sell their account before the CU?

175 ? for a merch/weponsmith? man i wonder what id get for my neighbors rifle/tk/brawler...ill just sell him out from under....lol youre right this is insane

And the sad thing is.. i predict an 80% chance that some idiot will but that account. Another thing, its not a good idea do sell a Master Crafting Profession. First off, some newb will buy it and make crappy weapons with the name of Master on them. Second, $175 for that? Wonder what I'll get for mine lol 500

Yeah that is a real waste of money on the ws, I'm sure you could buy some third party progs for cheaper if you didn't care about breaking rules. As far as people buying jedi I'm ok with it, if it is one of their priorities.

Crafting accounts aren't worth it, you'd be better off buying credits and buying the resources you need to MAKE good whatever...

Ok, folks. Let me tell you a little secret. This dude is a total dumbass. He is dumb for 2 reasons. 1) He thinks he can get $175 for his account 2) he included his character's name. If you think that this toon is worth $175 you are dumb too. Just because he puts that as a min bid does not mean that is the value of the account. If that were the case, i would put up all my toons for $1,000,000 each, and retire to the bahamas. Some joker may bid minimum knowing that SOE will put an end to it. If SOE doesn't, I gaurentee you right around auction close, thatbidder will be panicing and trying to contact SOE himself.

its happening now on the ahazi forums with a Ebay jedi. They wont do anything about it. They are looking to get a part of ebays action and arrange item selling themselves now.
