Thread: Credit buying services how do they do it?

Okay, the title pretty much says it all. All these services on the web where you can pay rl $ for SWG credits, how do they have access to millions of credits, or hundreds of millions of credits on every server? Are these Devs or CSRs making extra money on the side? Are they exploiting? Is there something i don't know about how to make millions with very little effort? Please someone tell me how they are doing this. Thanks

Players can sell IG credits to these sites. It works similar to foreign currency exchanges, in that they will buy $10mil off you for $20, and sell it to someone else for $25.
Some of the 'less respectable' (I use that term relatively) have in the past also used IG dupes/exploits to gain credits.
I don't think SOE take kindly to it though. But then, I am sure alot of people don't feel guilty about selling their credits after what's happened to the game.
They have obviously conceded that there is nothing they can practically do to stop this sort of credit/item/account selling go on, hence their new Exchange.
