Ok, with RoTW there is a lot of good dropped and questarmor and weapons. But, there is no love for the crafter in this. What I propose is that you keep everything as is for the combat types but add random dropped schematics for these new weapons as well. This way a Master Weaponsmith could improve upon it and make an even better one, and this adds content for the crafter. For the clone armour quest it should give an option at the end to either offer a schematics for the suit or the suit itself. Once again the combat types can still have their free quest armour (one time quests that is) but the crafters can also get something new to craft. The same goes for Katarn armour.
Would be nice to be able to craft some of these new things and it would make everyone happy as combat peeps still get free stuff for killing things but crafters can make the same item better if they wish to pay.
Anywho I am just bored and getting delierous from lack of sleep as such a simple idea will never get implemented. But I can dream can't I?

Remember, crafters "messed up" the game before, simply by trying to make the best products possible...

Well the problem was that the high end cap (especially on armor) was way to high. I mean 95% mitigation is a bit rediculous. As far as weapons I thought it was the looted weapons (uber DOT weapons) that made them too powerful.
The CU actually made it pretty easy to reach cap or near cap for armor (kind of a shame really). It is just that the cap is much much lower now so being able to craft quest armor should not imbalance anything just give us new skins for armor.
Would be a nice step in the right direction. I am not really sure what can be done with weapon drops or quest weapons as I am not a weaponsmith but I am sure WS's have some ideas.

but crafters ruined the economy.
Now that the fighters and looters have a better foothold we should see the economy return to a very fair and fun state
*gags on his own sarcasm*
Crafters at least have some idea of what goes into making the items, and so you won't see many selling crafting tools for millions of credits and full suits of armor for 1 credit. Whereas nobody has any idea about the value of loot. Someone offers a nice new person who got lucky way too little, and then asks way too much.
Loot economies are boring and silly, and will devalue the credit faster than the league of ArmorFascists who appearently are solely responsible for the current state of the economy
